SORD in GW2!

Most of us come from the SORD guild in the first game where we chilled and helped each other out in the quest for HoM points. The GW2 guild was created to keep the friends we met and to welcome any /v/ or /vg/ member that wants to join.

The guild works exactly like in the first game: everyone has the same officer position, with the exception of a figurehead that is there to keep bundles of sticks at bay. This is the basic overview of the guild.

Our "official" server is Seafarer's Rest (EU) and Jade Quarry (NA), but every EU or NA server is welcome. Let me make this clearer: we are not centralized, but most of us are rolling on these 2 servers.

As an addendum to that, if any small groups of /v/ and /vg/ members are considering other servers, you are more than welcome to join, if only to have more bros to talk to.

Cross-server/region mail is working! If you get the message "Unable to find recipient", make sure you use the ACCOUNTNAME.UNIQUENUMBER of the person you are trying to mail, NOT their character's name.

Also, despite guesting not being available, dungeons work cross-server/region too. Invite everyone and the leader of the party should enter the dungeon. Everyone on different servers will get a popup message "would you like to enter this person's instance?" or something to that effect.

For the emblem, since there has been no opposition to it for days, that's what we are using for now. You are bound to see emblems that look like ours simply because there are ~30 preset emblems to choose from, and thousands of guilds making emblems. However, you are always free to use the web tool included in the last announcement to propose an emblem that will be voted by the guild. Just follow the conditions set in the last announcement.

Everyone has invite power. The only condition we have is that you only invite people from /v/, /vg/ or four chains in general.

We can finally create our emblem. I took a jab at it, and you guys saw the result in-game. This is the emblem in a variety of weapons, as well as the entire selection of emblems, backgrounds and colors.
