We don't know when a Free Weekend will happen, but when it does, it'll be announced here. There will be plenty of time to get it, many people here will be willing to help others get the achievement. Just make sure to check in consistently.

If there's any chance of a free weekend this year, I'd say our best chance is this August, as Valve will officially turn 30. So perhaps they'll give us one as part of a celebration, although it's never guaranteed.

There's no schedule. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. But it seems to be happening once every 2 years or so, but I cannot confirm it's going to take place again this year.

It lasts for a weekend, as the achievement describes.
