Reckoning comes out on February 7th!

Amalur is an immersive fantasy world created by the one and only R.A. Salvatore. 10,000 years of vibrant history have been created which chronicle the rise of great kingdoms and the lives of memorable, iconic characters. The story of Amalur is the story of magic.

The first game in the franchise is Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning which was developed by Big Huge Games and 38 Studios. Members of the great staff include R.A. Salvatore, Todd McFarlane, and Ken Rolston. 38 Studios was founded by baseball great Curt Schilling and acquired Big Huge Games the creators of the Rise of Nations series in 2009.

Just wanted to say how much fun I'm having with the game so far and wanted to congratulate you all on a successful launch. I think I've played about 15 hours so far and also watched all the great streams that were on yesterday. I wish you all the best of luck with your future products and I cannot wait to play them. :)

Thanks to the community team the Pre-Load is now up, you may need to restart your client. :)

14 years ago today, it was over (or atleast today 14 years ago in the US, I'm in EU, so I'm sort of too late. Oops!).

Just wanted to say: you guys who worked at 38 and BHG are awesome!
There is still a big fanbase for the IP!
There is even a lore-channel that was active and made really cool lore videos and more for years since 2021! (Lord of Lore)

A big shame that whatever the plans were for the IP will most likely never see the light of day, and will probably turn into something else. Or just collect dust on a shelf somewhere. But it was cool to see atleast some previous Amalur-devs have a hand in the new content!

I'm thinking about starting a new run of the original Reckoning soon!
