Early Access Review
This is another great VR port brought to us by Flat2VR Spark.
I played a little bit of the Flatscreen game years ago on console, but this is a welcome port to VR and plays as if it were a native VR title.

The racing and crashes are intense in this game and it's pure chaos.
However, there are little to no comfort options as of this review so you'd better have strong 'VR Legs' before you dive into this game. In fact when using the nitro in any of the races, it has that really bad up and down screen shake that gets me motion sick pretty fast, and I have pretty good VR legs. Hopefully more comfort options will be added in since it's still in Early Access/

I do not own a gaming wheel so I was unable to try playing with that but I used both the default Quest control scheme with the sticks, and also with the 'virtual steering' so instead of using the thumbstick to steer, you hold both grip buttons on each controller and hold the controllers in front of you and use the motion controllers to steer as if you're holding a steering wheel. This works well but sometimes my hands tend to drift apart.
I also tried playing with an 8Bitdo Ultimate Controller to play as well and for now that's my preferred method.

My favorite mode so far is the destruction derby style deathmatch modes. The other FlatOut stunt modes in the arena where you launch the driver out of the vehicle is a nice addon and has the 'one more try' type gameplay to try to get a better score.

Disclaimer: I was provided a copy of the game for testing purposes, but it does not affect my review.

EDIT: It looks like they already patched in an option to disable the nitro camera shake in Options under General settings on the Day 1 patch. The game is lot more comforting for me to play now.

Game won't launch anymore because of this 3rd party Fulqrum Publishing launcher junk that was recently added.

Hello Games is still pumping out free content for NMS after all these years. I originally bought on PS4 and was glad they implemented cloud save so I could carry my progress over to PC.

Roboquest could have been a native VR game, but Flat2VR Studios did something great here by taking the original flat game and reworking every weapon of the game and giving full 6DOF movement for all the weapons, yet they preserved the original design of the game with the player movement and balance, while giving the players multiple options for the weapon reload mechanic: Can do a quick reload with a button press similar to the flat game, or full 3D two handed gesture reload like a native VR title.

And for those who have not played the original game it's like playing a native VR port, not just a 'lazy VR conversion'.

If you own the flat version, I have not tested to see if the flat save game is compatible with the VR version, but no matter as it's 100% worth playing the game and unlocking everything again in VR. Now I just need to work on unlocking all the robo classes now :)

This game is more fun than your real job. Plus you get to fight your way up to the top of the corporate ladder and beat up the CEO.
Can't do that in your real job without gettin' fired.

This is a nice little chill program that lets you make a to-do list and listen to some lo-fi tunes in the background while you're doing your stuff. Hopefully in future updates, we can import our own songs.
Worth checking out since the app is free.

This is a pretty interesting idle clicker game with retro vibes and the whole game takes place on a Windows 95 style desktop, and the first thing you unlock are autoclickers icons and then you can spend the points to upgrade those icons so they click faster.

When you get to 1 billion clicks you have to 'rewind' and start over. Up to Rewind 10 you get an extra new item unlocked via RNG and cursor click power. After that you only get cursor power. So if you're grinding for items and achievements it's not worth 'playing the game after Rewind 10 since currently the game only gives you new RNG item drops by having the game open/idle/running every 2 hours.

I don't have all the in game drops yet, unfortunately the collection page doesn't show a % progress only pictures of everything and grayed out items you don't have. On the Inventory page probably about 2/3rds of the items shows are duplicates from RNG, you can also 'craft' items by merging 3 items to get a new item, but that's probably heavily RNG as well so you're better off selling the duplicates on the Community Market or trade with others to get the ones you want.

There's also a PONG clone you can play for another distraction in the game while the game is doing the auto-clicking for you.

Still if you like 80s's retrowave stuff I'd say it's worth a download to mess around with and have it idle and you can listen to the sythwave tunes while you're doing other stuff. I unlocked 36/36 achievements after 168 hours per Steam tracking.

Great game! I finished the first episode in Early Access. The games's a lot of fun, especially the melee combat system.
You get your money's worth out of the first episode IMO, and if you buy in early then you get the other episodes for free when they continue to update the game.

The open area of each Chapter's level is nice and lets you complete the objectives in a variety of ways. However, the map/waypoint/objective system is kinda broken right now. A lot of times I got lost on where to go. For example, in Chapter 3, after you clear out a certain area of goons one of the NPC characters says 'meet me in the old garage across the way and I'll open the door for you'. There's only one garage in that level and there's a big sign but all of those doors under the garage sign are locked. spent a long time running around other areas looking for doors to open and it turned out had to open the back doors of the garage for the story to progress. The NPC should have stated which door to open or unlock all the doors of the garage to progress.

I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the chapters and the devs improving the map/waypoint system.

Play this game. It doesn't require a PSN account.
