Personally I like the input reading in Elden Ring. To be charitable it's in service of making the AI appear more intelligent, not just to ♥♥♥♥ with you. there is so many times where they do it right before I start healing, or while I am healing. I was find it cool that they know the fan base so we'll they can tell when you need to heal and it gives a real since of danger to healing. It can be extremely annoying at times, and complete bs, but it is sick how, I need to learn to change my way of healing to adapt to this boss. The panic I get while waiting for the boss to attack so I get a chance to heal is intense. What I should do is bait out an attack so I can get a chance, but I am a guy who can't think calmly under pressure so I fall for it every time. However the concept of putting yourself in a worse position to later get a better position is a concept I enjoy.
