So, itโ€™s a little challenging to review a product that hasnโ€™t been released fully, but Iโ€™ll try to comprehensively break down what I know thus far, as the word โ€œpassโ€ often invokes negative connotations in the minds of gamers. We WILL own the content, and that digital ownership doesnโ€™t run out or expire at the end of the pass.

Pre-ordering the 2025 Content Pass before May 7th 2025 will provide you access to:

โ€ข Mages Guild Recall Customised Action (used when travelling to wayshrines)
โ€ข 10-Year Lion Guard Steed mount
โ€ข 10-Year Anniversary Mudcrab pet
โ€ข Shell-Tide Beach emote pack

If you already own all the previous expansions/chapters (Morrowind, Summerset, Elsweyr, Greymoor, Blackwood, High Isle, Necrom, and Gold Road), then you wonโ€™t need to purchase the 2025 Premium Edition; you can purchase the Standard Edition for ยฃ42.99/$49.99. If youโ€™re missing a couple of expansions/chapters, it might be cheaper to purchase the ones youโ€™re missing when theyโ€™re on sale, as they might come to less than the additional amount.

This might be slightly contradictory, seeing as Iโ€™ve put in 10,222 hours into ESO, but I would always recommend first-time Tamriel explorers to purchase the base game first to see how you find it before investing in every expansion/chapter, as the experience is very different and unique when compared to previous Elder Scrolls installments.

When it comes to the content released by Zenimax, traditionally, content has released quarterly with a dungeon DLC, a chapter, another dungeon DLC, & finally a zone DLC. From what I can tell, not a lot is changing:

Q1: has seen Fallen Banners dungeons (Lep Seclusa and Exiled Redoubt) arrive March 10th 2025 for all ESO+ subscribers.

Q2: We receive "Seasons of the Worm Cult: Part 1," which will release June 2nd, 2025, & we will unlock the island of Solstice (capital: Sunport, picture below) and a continuation of the main questline (which, according to the ESO datamine I was looking at, will have Altmer architecture south of Murkmire, so that isโ€ฆ different, lol).

We will get a new 12-person PvE trial located on Solstice called "Ossein Cage" that will unlock an additional 4 new sets:

Perfected Dolorous Arena

(2 items) Adds 1206 Maximum Health.
(3 items) Gain Minor Aegis at all times, reducing your damage taken from Dungeon, Trial, and Arena Monsters by 5%.
(4 items) Adds 1487 Armor
(5 items - Perfected) Adds 1096 Maximum Stamina
(5 items) While bracing, create a distortion barrier around yourself. You gain 614 Armor and enemies within the distortion barrier have their Armor reduced by 1843 for 2 seconds. Both effects occur every 2 seconds and can each stack up to 3 times.

Perfected Harmony in Chaos

(2 items) Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage
(3 items) Gain Minor Slayer at all times, increasing your damage done to Dungeon, Trial, and Arena Monsters by 5%.
(4 items) Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage
(5 items - Perfected) Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage.
(5 items) While in combat, activating a synergy grants you a stack of Harmonized for 10 seconds, up to 5 stacks max. You can gain 1 stack every 0.5 seconds. Increase your Weapon and Spell Damage by 86 per stack of Harmonised.

Perfected Kazpian's Cruel Signet

(2 items) Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage
(3 items) Gain Minor Slayer at all times, increasing your damage done to Dungeon, Trial, and Arena Monsters by 5%.
(4 items) Adds 1487 Offensive Penetration
(5 items - Perfected) Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage.
(5 items) On dealing area direct damage, place a Sword above one enemy. You cannot place a Sword on an enemy who already has one from you. After 6 seconds, the Sword falls, dealing 324 Physical Damage. This damage cannot critically strike and scales off the higher of your Weapon or Spell Damage. This effect deals an additional 33% damage for each additional Sword you have on other enemies.

Perfected Recovery Convergence

(2 items) Adds 4% Healing Done.
(3 items) Gain Minor Aegis at all times, reducing your damage taken from Dungeon, Trial, and Arena Monsters by 5%.
(4 items) Adds 1096 Maximum Magicka.
(5 items - Perfected) Adds 4% Healing Done.
(5 items) While in combat, overhealing done is converted into stored energy on you for 20 seconds. After overhealing 100000 Health, your energy maxes out, granting you the Convergence Release synergy. When you activate this synergy, restore 6886 Stamina and Magicka to yourself and group members within 28 meters of you. After activating Convergence Release, you cannot store overhealing for 30 seconds.

Q3: Will unlock two additional dungeons, "Black Gem Foundry" and "Naj Caldeesh." Both dungeons are available with ESO+, as all the other dungeons are. When you purchase the content pass, you will own both dungeon DLCs and you WON'T need to purchase them separately from the Crown Store. Having said that, it is within the realms of probability that youโ€™ll be able to purchase the content pass with crowns in around a year or so, as we have seen in the past.
We will also receive the new "Writhing Wall" community event that will see the ESO community join together (split into our respective servers, so EU and NA for our platforms) to bring down the writhing wall, a wall of souls that is separating eastern and western Solstice. Even those without the content pass will still be able to participate but are excluded from participating in the quests around Solstice. I am particularly excited about this event, as I enjoy community events significantly more; the unlocking rewards after hitting new milestones are more exciting than the standard in-game events such as the Jester's or New Life festivals.

Q4: Finally, we will receive "Seasons of the Worm Cult: Part 2" with the addition of some old faces from the previous main story questline that released 10 years ago. It is always nice to see a continuation of Elder Scrolls PvE lore. I decided NOT to Mace Windu, Mannimarco, and ultimately decided he wasnโ€™t too dangerous to be kept alive, thus freeing him from Molag Balโ€™s torture, as Altmer blood and life are far too precious to be spilt or lost, especially at the hands of a fellow Altmer, so it will be exciting to see if that decision comes back to bite us, lol.

Subclassing (or hybridisation):

This feature will allow further customisation of our skills by allowing us to combine up to three skill lines and is a free, base game feature. The only downside is that it will cost TWO skill points as opposed to the standard one we normally see with native class skills.

For example, I predominantly only use healers; my main Templar healer (Prince Valion of Alinor) has access to Aedric Spear, Dawnโ€™s Wrath & Restoring Light. He only uses the Restoring Light skill line, but now, in theory, he will have access to the Wardens โ€œGreen Balanceโ€ so he can equip Budding Seeds (skill), utilising the Wardens powerful AoE healing abilities.

This customisation, in addition to the new scribing skills we received with the Gold Road expansion (and soon to become a part of the base game), is truly an incredible addition and a prospect I am extremely excited to see added. This is account-wide, & you will need to level up each character's level to a minimum of 50 (that will also include the respective morphs as well), but if youโ€™re like me and have all characters already levelled up in their respective classes (the seven different classes), you will be ready when the changes come into effect.

The Walking Dead Reviewโ€ฆ

Soโ€ฆ I might as well get this out of the way with firstโ€ฆ I cried, I donโ€™t give a sh*t if it isnโ€™t โ€˜manlyโ€™ I donโ€™t fu*king care, I cried more than onceโ€ฆ Now that Iโ€™ve push my manly insecurities aside, I shall endeavour to continue the review lol.

As Steam no longer has the trailer in the store page, I will include a link below:

https://youtu.be/N40uY51s5Z0

Normally, I tend not to focus on the negatives first as I donโ€™t want to give the wrong impression straight away and potentially taint a new buyers opinion but there was oneโ€ฆ Kinda annoying? Issue? There seems to be a slight lag. I counted it every 3 seconds, so the gameplay would be fine for 3 seconds then youโ€™ll experience a 0.5 second lag, which doesnโ€™t sound terrible by any means, but it can be the difference between life and death. Iโ€™ve only ever noticed this lag with one other game which was โ€˜Dead Space 2โ€™ which almost stopped me playing the game immediately, but Iโ€™d definitely recommend pushing through it was it doesnโ€™t become as noticeable as you progress and become more engrossed in the story. Iโ€™m not sure if itโ€™s the port or the fact that itโ€™s a 9-year-old game but whatever. I did attempt to lower the graphics options but no dice, it could be because I was playing at 1080p and should have lowered the resolution some more? But I would play a game at any lower than 1080p anyway but if you can then it might fix the issue.

Camera angles during gameplay can be an issue too but you can definitely get past that I kind of reminded me of Resident Evil 1 for the first PlayStation, youโ€™ll understand what I mean when you play it.
I will say your movement/walking speed is DEFINITELY problematic! You canโ€™t runโ€ฆat all. This doesnโ€™t sound terrible but can piss you off when you know how to complete a puzzle, but you are literally taking a leisurely stroll lol.
I also got the feeling the choices I was making didnโ€™t really matter all that much either as I went back a few times to change certain choices to change the outcome, but the conclusion was exactly the same. While this isnโ€™t necessarily a problem, it does however, completely remove the replayability factor from the game (Iโ€™ve only played season 1 so this might not apply to the other seasons).

Now, on to the positives the game has to offerโ€ฆ

From what I can tell the game is heavily influenced by the Walking Dead comics and NOT the T.V show. You can definitely see that graphically as it looks a lot like the comics as opposed to the common โ€˜movie styleโ€™ graphics we so often see so keep that in mind if youโ€™re expecting to play a TV version of the game.
The story is truly compelling and utterly gripping! The choices you are forced to make can really mess with your head, the fallout for some of your choices can be instantaneous or brought up later on in the game. Itโ€™s one of those games where difficult choices tend to pop up where you least expect it, like everything is cool then suddenly you have to make a choice on who to save and with the added โ€˜countdownโ€™ you donโ€™t get a lot of time to make your decision which is great because it shows the choices you would of made in a real life, split second decision instead of allowing you to weigh up your options and make your decision based on what you might perceive the long and short term effects of your choices to be. For me there were 3 specific scenes that really left me wide eyed and a lump in my throat, but I wonโ€™t spoil it for anyone regardless of how old the game is.

The voice acting from all the cast is absolutely incredible and the voice actor for Lee Everett (Dave Fennoy) does an incredible job breathing life into a character youโ€™ll be emotionally invested in. I also found myself loving some personalities and hating others, I was completely loyal and honest to Kenny and his family but hated Lilly, especially her father Larry but every character was really well thought out and their respective personalities shine through with the incredible voice acting of each character. It was also a welcome change playing as a person of colour (being a person of colour myself) as Iโ€™m able to identify more easily with the character (for those that think it doesnโ€™t matter, think about how many of us male gamers play games with a female protagonist?) so itโ€™s awesome to have some representation in games.

I think the story of Clementine and Lee is a truly beautiful one and I often found myself making the same speech choices in game as I would to my 10-year-old in RL (if we were trying to survive a zombie apocalypse). You definitely become emotionally invested in Clementine and made the unconscious decision of calling Clem my daughter in game which had negative effects with one or two characters in particular. You make choices as a parent which I think adds to the immersion.

Apart from the few problems I specified at the start of this review I can honestly rate this game as one of my favourites and feel completely embarrassed to be 9 years late to the party lol. If you havenโ€™t played it yet I highly recommend you pick a copy up, especially if you value an intriguing and exciting story over beautiful graphics.

CYBERPUNK 2077 REVIEW

*** WARNINGโ€ฆ HUGELY UNPOPULAR OPINION BELOW ***

So I have seen numerous reviews with people absolutely SLATING Cyberpunk 2077 with โ€˜itโ€™s the worse game Iโ€™ve ever playedโ€™ โ€˜the bugs and glitches are a jokeโ€™ & โ€˜CDPR sucks!โ€™. I have also seen the recent statement put out by CD Projeck Red apologising, saying they will fix the bugs and glitches ect but more importantly โ€˜asking for a chance to put things rightโ€™. Fellow gamersโ€ฆ I feel it necessary to point a few things outโ€ฆ CDPR gave us, the gaming community an absolute cracker in the Witcher franchise. The Witcher 3 is arguably the greatest RPG ever released! CDPR isnโ€™t a huge company like Bioware, Konami or even Bethesdaโ€ฆ When 90% of other companies decided to include โ€˜microtransactionsโ€™ into the games we love, CDPR took a stand and instead of making tens of millions from microtransactions (which they absolutely could of just by adding that to the Witcher 3) and helping the companies accounts grow they decided to do the right thing and stand by their convictions and thus with us, the gaming community.

Now I am NOT saying โ€˜continue to play a game that is completely broken for youโ€™. If the game is unplayable then sure, get a refund because ยฃ50 is a lot for a game you canโ€™t play, hell, any amount other than free is a lot if you can physically play the game but instead writing terrible reviews, wait and see if CDPR is willing to stand by their statement and fix the issues. Remember, this is a company that decided to โ€˜give away SIXTEEN DLCโ€™sโ€™ for the Witcher 3! Why? Because and Iโ€™m quoting the co-founder and Joint CEO of CD PROJEKT RED Marcin Iwiล„ski:

โ€œโ€œWe love games. We love collecting them, playing them, and everything connected to that experience. Every time we reach out for a new release, we expect to be taken care of. We expect support if we encounter any problems. With the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, we have decided to do it differently. Cutting to the chase, everyone who buys Wild Hunt will receive 16 specially prepared DLCs absolutely for free, regardless of platform. You donโ€™t have to pre-order, you donโ€™t have to buy any special edition to get them โ€” if you own a copy of Wild Hunt, theyโ€™re yours. This is our way of saying thank you for buying our game.โ€

If that doesnโ€™t sound like a company dedicated to providing us with bespoke, authentic gaming experiences then I donโ€™t know what does and before everyone gets on my case, no, CDPR havenโ€™t paid me a penny! This is just my opinion as someone who has been an avid gamer for the past 30 years!

*** IMPORTANT POINT I WANT TO MAKE BEFORE MY ACTUAL REVIEW***

Firstly, and most importantly.... 'NVIDIA DRIVERS' You will want to 'Check for Updates' because although there was an update released by Nvidia on the 02/12/2020, another was released when Cyberpunk dropped 09/12/2020 and it's called "GeForce Game Ready Driver, Version: 460.79". It will help ensure that your game doesn't crash (mine did on three occasions without it). Not sure if anyone else experienced the same issue I did but since doing a clean installation of 460.79 Iโ€™ve had absolutely no issues whatsoever and it runs flawlessly!

In your first proper mission with โ€˜Jackie Wellesโ€™ I would strongly recommend you not only decide to run the โ€˜simulation exerciseโ€™ but all FOUR and donโ€™t โ€˜Delta Outโ€™ after two as they are invaluable to know and understand. Iโ€™m sure all four categories are:

1. Target Practice โ€“ First with static then moving targets using a gun, then enemies using a rifle.

2. Hacking โ€“ Learning how to distract enemies in order to take them down via stealth.

3. Stealth โ€“ Discovering how to tag and mark plus enemy and security cameraโ€™s FOV.

4. Melee โ€“ CQC (Close Quarters Combat) and training with a Samurai sword.

These are not particularly long and can be completed in a relatively short period of time but the experience and understanding you gain from completing them that early on (getting to grips with the basics) is invaluable.

So, for a game that released a little over five days ago Iโ€™ve managed to clock around 80 hours thus far, so it's fair to say I am little addicted for sure lol I've spent my time mainly doing side quests (NCPD, Search and Discover etc..) along with a few main missions (Iโ€™m currently up to Act 2) and the game touches on some really Heavy โ™ฅโ™ฅโ™ฅโ™ฅโ€ฆ Like โ€˜organ harvestingโ€™, โ€˜cyberware harvestingโ€™, 'mental health challenges', 'sexual exploitation', 'human trafficking' & 'personal losses' to name but a few and it all gets dark, very quickly into the story. I will openly admit that I regularly save my game just to reload certain arcs in the story so I can replay them again they are that compelling and utterly thrilling!

One scene in particular that got me more than any other thus far was Jackieโ€™s Death (I know we all saw it in the trailers but so early in the game was a shock) I swear someone was cutting onions or something because that was a moment! I was so busy celebrating what I thought was a successful heist that when that scene came to an end it was a 'WTF moment' (I am sure it wasn't just me that felt that way either!).

I will say that getting Eurodollarโ€™s is easy, especially if you decide to exploit the vending machines. I havenโ€™t personally tired that and am completely broke (Cyberware can get damn expensive trust me lol) but I have heard people mention that you can earn 100-200k per hour doing that lol. I am sure there will be YouTube uploads explaining how it's done but I won't be including a link in my review for two reasons... Firstly, because I don't know if that would get you banned or not and finally, because I'm too much of a chicken โ™ฅโ™ฅโ™ฅโ™ฅ to try it LOL so if you want to know how it's done proceed at your own risk.

Another thing that pleasantly surprised me was the driving... It is something very few developers ever get right (even in some racing games) and the fact that CDPR have only ever created games that involved horses to get you around it is damn good! Sure, there are moments you feel as if you are 'floating' a little but as a companyโ€™s first attempt it has absolutely nailed it in my humble opinion! I was also a little on the fence about it being in first person as opposed to third as most of the RPG's I play tend to be in third, but you can change the POV when driving so thatโ€™s always a plus!

Combat is also a solid feature of the game. I'll admit I prefer to hack security cams, then hack TF out of enemies but there are plenty of options at your disposal. Personally, I prefer hacks and the use of throwing knives and a Katana blade for CQC (Close Quarter Combat) i.e. the Stealth approach instead of going in all guns blazing. It's more of a challenge but worth it, especially when lobbing the heads and arms off enemies... Not sure why but I get great satisfaction removing ones head from oneโ€™s body while watching a fountain of blood leave the neck hole (should probably tell my psychiatrist about that lol) but seriously, if you're a MGS fan and stealth is your thing, I definitely recommend you give it a shot over using rifles and guns. There are plenty of weapons for you to make use of from shotguns and sniper rifles to LMG's and SMG's plus you can add attachments to most weapons (namely uncommon upwards) also you can add certain mods that help customise your play style. I'm a huge fan of using 'Cyberhacks' myself and you have plenty of choice in that department too.

https://cyberpunk.fandom.com/wiki/Cyberpunk_2077

TL: DR

If 'Dues Ex: Mankind Divided' โ€˜Grand Theft Auto:5โ€™ & 'Sleeping Dogs' decided to engage in a little sexy time, had a threesome, but didnโ€™t know who the baby daddy wasโ€ฆ The child from that (but incredible) union would be 'Cyberpunk 2077'.

*I have decided to edit my initial review after spending 10,854 hours to incorporate some of the changes that have happened in the game, along with adding equivalents in terms of the hardware specifications as most people are not running hardware from thirteen years ago.

If you do decide to purchase this game, you will create an account on:

account.elderscrollsonline.com

You will have to do it in order to play the game. It's run through a third party, but it's simple enough. Just be aware that the โ€œuseridโ€ you choose on the 3rd party site will be the โ€œuseridโ€ displayed while youโ€™re in the game. The @[Insert Name Here] others will see.

๐†๐€๐Œ๐„ ๐‘๐„๐•๐ˆ๐„๐–

The game is truly beautiful; the colours are vibrant, stand out, and feel genuinely warm. The Elder Scrolls Online really does a fantastic job of making sure you feel completely immersed in the environment. For me, this is a huge plus! Personally, I want to feel like Iโ€™m actually running around Tamriel, taking in the sights, sounds, atmosphere and environment and ESO does a magnificent job creating that escape into a magical fantasy world.

I have, admittedly, been in deep contemplation about what game ESO is reminiscent of, and while I can appreciate I am showing my age a little here, it's like Fable 3 with Dragon Age: Inquisition overtones, with some of the grand designs of some of the buildings (Val Royeaux, the capital city of Orlais, looks very similar to Alinor) and the atmosphere, but again, this is strictly subjective and open to interpretation.

The NPCs really blend in well with the environment and are able to add to the unique atmosphere. Furthermore, the NPCs involved in the quests you partake in look amazing when youโ€™re speaking to them. The body language feels genuine, and the words are actually synced with the movement of the NPCโ€™s lips, and they appear to work and converse with one another, interacting with one another and the environment, which unequivocally adds to the immersion, especially when you overhear a random conversation between NPCs discussing your exploits across Tamriel.

One of my favourite things about not only this but every game or movie I play or watch is its soundtrack, and wow, ESO is on point once again in that regard. In my humble opinion, a great soundtrack can make or break a game. Just look at โ€œThe Witcher 3: Wild Huntโ€ as an example; an amazing soundtrack will often equal an amazing game. ESOโ€™s soundtrack is really something special. I looked into the musical score, and they created it over a few years, and honestly, it truly is a masterpiece. Amazonโ€™s review has it at 4.5/5 stars. It gives you this warm sense of nostalgia, as it contains music from both Skyrim and Morrowind, so if you're sentimental like I am, it can make all the difference.

Honestly, I am struggling to find anything negative about this game. Obviously, I am aware that there were significant challenges when the game was initially released back in 2014, especially with optimisation, but given the amount of time from then to now, I think itโ€™s fair to say the patches and updates have done their intended job.

Another aspect I absolutely LOVE about this game is the โ€œfreedom of choiceโ€ and the โ€œcharacter customisationโ€. You are able to choose between TEN different races with the THREE factions as follows:

Looking at the minimum requirements in comparison to today's equivalent, it โ€˜roughlyโ€™ translates as:

Graphics Cards: Nvidia GTX 460 (2010) = Nvidia GT 1030 (2017)

CPU: AMD FX 4350 (2013) = Ryzen 3 1200 (2017)

The recommended requirements equivalents:

Graphics Cards: Nvidia GTX 970 (2014) = Nvidia 1060 (2016)

CPU: See above.

As most are aware, results depend primarily on what graphics card youโ€™re gaming with. If your budget allows it, I would strongly recommend you consider cranking the settings up to maximum, as you wonโ€™t be disappointed, but medium should generally be considered your baseline.
The difference between choosing the minimum settings in comparison to ultra is insane. The jump from minimum to medium is also significantly noticeable, with the textures, terrain, rendering, et cetera being all vastly superior in any setting above the minimum.

I've included a side-by-side comparison to highlight the differences between minimum, medium and high at 1080p resolution. If you're interested, please check out this video below but be advised, the video was uploaded over ten years ago:

For a more recent comparison between minimum and ultra, check out the video below that will further highlight the extreme differences between the two different settings:

One thing I will mention is this game can get REALLY expensive if you let it. Particularly if you're like myself and adore housing. To add some perspective, a typical "notable" house can cost upwards of 14,000 crowns; that roughly translates to ยฃ74.99. However, you can purchase the majority of homes for in-game gold, provided you have completed specific achievements for that area/zone. Full transparency, there is a market in the game that you will see in zone chat with people asking to purchase crowns with in-game currency, something akin to 1:2000 (one crown per 2,000 gold), but I wouldn't personally recommend that, especially with strangers, as you have the potential to lose a significant amount of gold or crowns from being scammed.

It is true, the crown store items are not pay to win in the conventional sense; it is mostly for cosmetic items, but you do get the feeling with how slowly you acquire gold, especially if youโ€™re new to the game or not trading, that it would most definitely be easier to just buy crowns. Counting all of my purchase history, I have spent upwards of ยฃ7,500 over the past seven years, so you will have to search your own soul to determine whether or not it is worth it for you but you could play the game without ever needing to purchase crowns, especially with the endeavour system.

As of 25/11/2025, it is currently on sale now for ยฃ3.99 or ยฃ22.43 for every chapter and the base game.

The End.

Well where to begin with Vampyr?? I didn't wish to review this game to early thus ensuring i gave it the proper chance and in all honesty it was worth it. The story is quite confusing to grasp at the start and in all honesty i kept starting and stopping i.e an hour at first then went back a few days later. Then i got to the point where i was seduced by the story and thus felt like the game had finally become the immersive masterpiece i had been seeking.
If i could give one piece of advice for players just about to start...Don't take the life of your first victim outside the Penbrook hospital if you want to achieve the best ending as there is four different endings to this game. It has taken me around 70 hours to finally complete the game as I wanted to explore every avenue and story but i have heard or at least read about people completing the story in under 30. I strongly advise first time players against this strategy.
The beauty of this game is that it feels almost like you are "prepairing your meal before finally eating LOL (You will understand what i mean when you play it)".
I have read an awful lot of reviews of people disreguarding and pulling apart the combat ethics of the game which in my humble oppinion isn't warranted. The combat is just fine if you take the time to master it.
As a medic myself the formulas are rather accurate especially for the time Vampyr is set in also the use of latin in the game is a nice touch. You can see the dev's have put a fair amount of time researching certain aspects of the games story and dynamics, I especially like the 'Van Gough Painting and signed book from Bram Stoker" Fangtastic touch LOL.
Seriously ladies and gentlemen this game is definately one you'll want to play at least 2-3 playthroughs before putting it down and with the fact it does have 4 different ending suggests it does have a "more thab once " feel to the game. I know i certainly will as in my first playthrough i didn't take a life thus getting the best ending for me.
Ohh and one last thing...I noticed someone stipulated they had pirated the game as they, and i quote "didn't want to pay the currupted companies...". Ladies and gentlemen this isn't a game stuffed with microtransactions, DONTNOD and Focus are not big companies so please if you like the look of the game support them by purchasing a copy.
Thank You :)

You know when you play a game and instantly think how much your friends will enjoy that game?
The graphics are amazing in my opinion, i managed to play it in 4K and the world of Rome and Britian looks amazing. I didn't experience any lag while in game and RYSE does a great job of making you feel immersed in it's world.
The fighting feels very basic but is very easy to get the hang of which makes it easy to complete high levels of combination thus giving you loads of experience to upgrade your character. The upgrades really give you the opportunity to style your character on how you play the game. I love how the game depicts emperor Nero and his sons also the brutality and gore give this game extra points for me...Fu.ckin love that โ™ฅโ™ฅโ™ฅโ™ฅ!!
The game can be played with either KB/M or with a XBOX controller and personally for this game i would recommend sitting back in your chair and using a gamepad as it makes the game a lot more enjoyable.
The only real let down (if you can call it that) is the story. While the story feels relevant it does have the habit of making the gameplay feel slightly redundant and at times feels very clichรฉ and unfortunately isn't long enough, if your like me and enjoy a game it's all you play till you complete it or fall asleep trying lol you can complete the game in under 5 hours which is a shame as it makes you want MORE of it.I have noticed a lot of my friends own this game and have given it very positive reviews also and rightly so. It really is graphically beautiful as I mentioned previously. I can't mention what the multiplayer version is like as I haven't yet played it but if I can get my brother hooked on it i may give it a bash and will edit my review when applicable. With a price at currently ยฃ14.99 it's not only cheap but it's cheap, worth it's price tag AND enjoyable.
Scores on the doors for RYSE: Son of Rome:
Graphics: 8.5/10
Gameplay: 8/10
Story: 6.5/10
Value of Money: 8/10 (Paid ยฃ9.99 on sale)
