I absolutely love the base Blood West experience, even though I did burn out a little towards the end. Scavengers is, to me, an incredibly fun way to re-experience it and have it all feel fresh and novel. Its incredibly well designed and thought out and really benefits from the systems and mechanics of the base game. Absolutely stellar take on the game and worth way more than the asking price. Easy recommend.

Early Access Review
This is a really cool foundation for the game. There's a lot of love and care put into it by the dev and you can see and feel that everywhere. Sure its still a little rough around the edges, but it is an early access title and its far more developed than many of its kin. The developer recently posted about potentially doing a massive overhaul and I really hope this process allows the game to shine like it deserves too. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it bud :) Keep up the great work!

I absolutely suck at this game. I can't get my brain to work in it and I just can't seem to improve. But... I love it so... idk if that says more about the game or me or what. 10/10

I really enjoyed the couple of hours I put into this game some years ago. I had been waiting for it to be "completed" before spending more time in it, but I never understood how they were going to make it work as a long term project in terms of monetising it and such. The most recent announcement is a little odd, but honestly I think its for the best. It was cool coming across a random person but it happens so infrequently and the game really feels like it should be a singleplayer experience. I know lots of people are upset, and they have every right to be - especially the kickstarter backers and such... But I'm happy with the change personally, because the game won't just disappear now. I hope that one day maybe they are able to add more content to it over time, but even if this is literally the end of development entirely (as they have said it is), I'm looking forward to spending a bunch of time in it, and for the new price, its an easy recommend tbh.

Took a few attempts over the last couple of years for this one to click with me, but once it did I thoroughly enjoyed it. The way it handles time is a little odd to get used to, and there's some jank here and there with various things, but overall this is an incredible enjoyable survival game. A special note here is that I think this is one of the best integrations of a narrative as motivation in a survival game. The story itself isn't anything ground breaking, but its enjoyable and it legitimately gives the palyer motivation to advance. Really happy I gave this another shot :)

Early Access Review
What do you get if you mix borderlands gameplay with deep rock galactic or helldivers 2 mission structure? Well, if you set it in a stylized wild west setting, that would be Far Far West.

Spent way too long playing the demo and thoroughly enjoying the release. Just get it - is good.

Early Access Review
This is a really fun starting foundation for a cool little roguelike that feels very inspired by Risk of Rain and other such titles. The base that is here is a lot of fun, and should only get better over time with more content and variety added from a developer who is clearly very passionate about the project. The price they are asking is more than fair and I look forward to seeing how the game grows over time.

Combat feels really fun and the weapons variety is already a pretty strong point. Enemies are interesting and unique for the genre and overall the presentation is stellar. I'd love to see more content added, especially with regards to the items and level types, as well as some sort of long term hook to keep you playing beyond a handful of hours, but as this is the first version of an Early Access release, and I had a blast playing it already, I'd absolutely recommend this title.

Also worth noting I had absolutely no issues running this on linux under proton, just for anyone in the same boat wondering.

Only just dipped my toes in the game so far, but pretty impressed with what I've played. I'm a huge fan of Vintage Story and this kinda feels like a halfway point between Hytale and Vintage story - it has the more detailed and immersive style of crafting, building, etc. but not really any of the survival stuff that VS has, and the fantasy and bright colour palette of Hytale, but not the more in-depth combat. The tutorial is pretty straight forward and sets you up, but after that is over its a bit like... okay now what? Feels like a pure sandbox, but judging by the steam page its not quite a pure sandbox - just not sure what I'm meant to do to "advance" yet (again - very early).

Either way, pretty happy with this and looking forward to exploring the game a bit more.

FWIW - playing this on linux (CachyOS with the CachyOS proton) and had no issues at all - ran first time and runs pretty greaet tbh.

Played the demo, absolutely adored it. Picked up the full game and had an absolute blast. The humor, art style, well polished mechanics... everything is so well done here. And it is just about the right length. Absolutely recommend this to anyone that looks at the trailer or plays the demo and thinks "♥♥♥♥ yeah this is for me" lol

Really enjoying this game so far. There's some reviews claiming its not an RPG, is shallow, etc. as well as a bunch of numpties in the discussions claiming the game is woke and bad because of that... Idk how any of those statements make any sense to anyone lol. It feels very much like a classic RPG heavily inspired by games like Morrowind and I haven't seen anything particularly "woke" at all (not that it would even matter to me if I did lol). What I have seen is a lot of very interesting worldbuilding, cool quests and storylines, and an utterly unique world that pulls you in. Combat is a bit simplistic - again like the classic RPGs that its inspired by - and compared to some modern games it might come across a little simple in its mechanics, but honestly, if that's what it takes to get an interesting set of stories in a world that actually feels like someone cares about it - then that's an okay trade to me.
