Really divisive. I like this game a lot, and with the largest technical problems fixed I'd say it was worth my money and I'm excited to go back into it with NG+/DLC. Isn't as scary as DS1 in the storytelling/combat, but I find the combat as engaging, if not more engaging. Still tense. Story is a lot more personal than DS and for what it's worth I think the characters are alright.

Kept me entertained and I am happy to play it more.

One of the best games I've ever played. It's that simple baby.

For about the price of my average visit to Panda Express I've gotten 29 hours of entertainment with a majority of that being pure management bliss. I've never been a huge tycoon gaymer but the aesthetic and fantasy of tavern management scratchs a specific itch I never knew I had.

To put it bluntly; Doom Eternal might be the best single player FPS I've played. Where 2016 was extremely competent but safe and slow, Eternal ramps it up to new heights with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of systems that all work together to create a loop that I've never experienced before.

The feeling is comparable to spinning 20 plates while the world crumbles underneath you. Depending on what you are looking for you will either love this game and the feeling of riding a razor edge it provides or understandably hate it for how unforgiving it is. Rest assured, this isn't a game that lets you play how you want to play it, but demands you conquer it the way it needs you to. Whether it'll make a man out of you is up in the air.

Numerous minor hitches stop it from being a utterly perfect single player experience. The Doom Slayer "Rip and Tear" stuff is definitely overplayed past the point of corporate cringe. The map and "Demonic Corruption" bar completely spoil whether or not the level has a boss or secret encounter the moment you load into the stage. Near the end there are definitely combat systems that overlap in usage and clutter the already pretty garish UI.

There are certainly a list of small issues with the game, but in the heat of combat they all melt away into some of the best FPS gameplay I've ever played.

Great ass game. The iconic horror in its greatest package. Surprised how well the PC port is as well, only missing ultrawide functionality (which is honeslty totally understandable considering). Masterclass title.

An interesting story with twist𝔰 and turns along the way! Accompany four high school girls in their ᴀttempts to manage an extra𝓿agant literature club! Compose breathtaking poems and bounce them around with your collₑagues for inspiring critique!

Will they succeed in the upcoming festival?

Will you get the girl?

How good of a friend are you?

An amazing tiмe to be had, for sure! The intrigu𝕖, marvelous!

On a mechanical level Storm 4 is superior to Revolution in pretty much every way. I like the way battles consist of short rounds, as opposed to a match being over in less than a minute.

On a technical level, from Revolution, it's a downgrade in almost every way. It supports 60FPS, and it's so smooth, but my PC, which is extremely overspecced for this game, struggles to maintain that at points. And when it fluctuates, a jarring slow motion effect occurs.

Pretty much everything else on a technical level is garbage, especially regarding multiplayer. The servers are worse, and for some odd reason the game lacks a function to mute yourself or other players, SOMETHING REVOLUTION ALREADY HAD. It's absurd.

Perhaps worst of the bunch is that, at least for me and my friend, the game won't recognize your controller if it either disconnects, or you alt tab. No matter what you do, you HAVE to restart the game just to use your controller. Another issue Revolution didn't have.

The game is fun when you can actually play it. Really. But it's just in such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ condition and it'll probably stay that way. Honestly this is a game where you'll objectively get a better experience buying it on console.
