Played 4 hours. Got a random event that asked who I wanted to send to a godly battle, chose my godly avatar, why wouldn't I? My starting commanders are all bad at fighting. Well. 3-1/2 hours later I'm forced to send my God to fight in a battle he's not supposed to because my "reward" from the first fight is a cursed ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ medal that I have to defend. My "reward" for wining again, is a slave collar that made my God, literally, retarded. They can't cast spells, had their leadership cut by 75% and oh, did I mention they cant use magic? Yeah their a caster.

It is no wonder why people don't get into this game. What a horrible waste of time and terrible first impression.

I spent the time to navigate the awful menu/ui. Learned to live with the UI bugs I encountered constantly (my favorite is when the game continues to select all commanders in a province until you shift click someone instead). But I'm not going to spend my time playing a game that will let 4 hours pass before letting you know you essentially ruined your game. Cool.
