Shake and bake, baby!

Another successful campaign logged in our ledger. As we weathered a month long assault of frightful proportions, we mustered our mettle and blasted chunks of backlog from Logos. Albeit we are entitled to revel in our success, our charge is never complete. Weakened but never truly defeated. He is inevitable.

As we dash into the next wave of challenges the Great Hoarder has for us, speed is of the utmost importance. We mustn’t let up the pace we have set for ourselves.

In an effort to boost morale and spread the wealth, Centurion Koda has recently opened his coffers and shared the spoils of his conquests amongst the guild. Thank his generosity by reinforcing our defenses with completion flexes.

Put the pedal to the metal. This month we go FAST! Just remember the key to this challenge is drivable vehicles.

When you’re done speeding to that challenge hundo, don’t forget that the first two weeks of December is the Catch UP. ANY monthly challenge from January to November may be completed for the same xp and role. No double dipping though. If your game satisfied numerous challenges, you pick. If you don’t care, the mod doing your check will decide.

The Blood Moon Calls

A shadowy presence looms over the guild lands. The chill of the Greedy One is smothering. Empowered by the Fall Festivities, wheeling and dealing bolsters your backlog but also boosts his boons.

Do Not Fret! Do Not Fear! We are tempered trappers of Twisted Winds. Ever-present and relentless. The Great Hoarder is no match for our steel resolve. For we hoard too! The backlog must grow! So I challenge you to litter our halls of hundos with your accomplishments.

Alas, the regiment of Stormchasers will be at a close for the remainder of the year. I value and respect those of you who have joined their ranks this year. Worry not though, for you may still sharpen your skills with our normal monthly challenges, as we barrel our way through Fright Club.

So let the Fright Nights commence. We will bark at the blood moon with haughty hunter’s pride. We will hunt. We will hundo!

Ladies and brethren of the realm, I come to you again with disturbing news.

We have seen many still nights and bloodless sunrises while we have upheld our charge. Logos the Excess and his indomitable presence have been slowed to almost a halt, despite his sempiternity. Alas, that time has come for our Heroes, Elden Lords, War-maidens, Stalwarts and any other insightful titles you’ve come to claim to remain vigilant and militant. We have yet to reach the blood moon of the fright nights but signs point to troubled times for Twisted Winds. We must be super in order to survive with our souls intact and delay the great hoarder more moments of his perpetual persistence. Eagerly, I will anticipate your stamps of solidarity in our hall of completions as you succeed through this month’s challenge.

I would also like to notify the elite regiment of those who have achieved Stormchaser status or would like to join the nobility this quarter. We challenged ourselves further this season and limited ourselves to only the most robust of indies. That being said, you have the duration of September to complete that challenge, as well, before it vanishes forever. Due to its stricter entrance to the Halls of Indie-Pendence, the boons will be boosted. Those who complete the year’s FINAL STORMCHASER challenge, the xp payout will be significantly more impressive.

Greetings patrons of the realm,

The time for rest, relaxation, and recreation must come to a pause. One must stay ready, in order avoid getting ready. It is a time for Action! It is a time for Adventure! It is a time for Anime! Our backlogs may have grown from the recent Summer Blessings from Lord Gaben, but with a little extra effort we may continue to stave off the indulgence left behind Logos the Excess. Let us stay vigilant and thwart the efforts of great hoarder. I look forward to your declarations of solidarity as you flood our nemesis with war cries exclaiming “we will not fold! We AAAchieve despite you!”

Splendid news throughout the land

Greetings inhabitants of Twistia,

I have splendid news to report from villages throughout our kingdom. Baron Lein the Huntsman and the Dark Lady send news that all sources of chaotic energy have receded. Noble Peekay the Obscure has alerted the Council that his lands are also clear from taint, as well as, Lady Bones of the Broken Coast sending word that all threats have been .... broken <boisterous guffaw>.

We had many valiant efforts from heroes of the kingdom such as Primarch Pito the Flexecutioner single-handedly dismantling the Black Myth's mischievous advances on our kingdom. While the Major crippled the rabid berserker Azan at the vanguard. Cortan of Rama, Solarion the Knight, and Plebius the Noose magnified their efforts in triplicate and managed to down a Saint! The Moose bested the Sovereign Mateus and his horde of demons through fantastical means. Almighty Quiv tamed saurions with ease, while the Wolfborn One conquered the Oblivion and managed to halt the shadow's advance. Our guild is littered with legendary heroes on every front.

The Twisted Nether appears to have stabilized for the moment. Naught a dragon, mythical beast, or the like have been spotted in days. The fringe fires no longer ablaze. We owe the gods great thanks for keeping Logos the Excess at bay while we thwart his minions and diminish his chance to grasp a foothold in our territory. Ever present the threat of invasion from the Backlands, we must remain vigilant and at the ready.

Albeit, we must maintain our resolve and hold steadfast, nay need to. We also shant infringe on some of the common comforts we've come to crave. This day we celebrate new triumphs. Take this time to surf into salacious summer sales provided by Lord Gaben himself. Acquire riches at a reduced rate. You've earned it! Take this newfound expertise and experience even more challenges on the horizon. For we may be one kingdom, you all are still independent nobles who hunt on their own terms. Iron sharpens iron. Join the hunt and accept the Stormchasers call at your own pace.

Dragons and Mythical Creatures are among us

Dragonslayer

Hear ye, hear ye

Denizens of Twind Village, I come with grave news. There have been reports from the Baroness Bonn the Dark Lady and Baron Clyde the Huntsman that chaotic energy has been spotted throughout their lands. Livestock and locals are panic stricken.

I fear the Twisted Nether has become more unstable than usual and several sightings of dragons, mythical beasts, and the like wreaking havoc along the fringes of Twistia. It is with great trepidation the worst is on the horizon if more than just mere dragon sneak through. For if Logos the Excess rears his ominous brow, we may have to light the pyres for an alliance amongst other guilds. I believe we lack the manpower to take on the Backlands this present time. It would be a full campaign of a quarter year at the very least.

These instances must be connected. It is imperative we rally the Hunter Guild to repel these perilous creatures of myth. These reports come from not just the Dark Lady and her companion but other trusted sources like the Noble Peekay the Obscure, as well as, Lady Bones of the Broken Coast.

I trust all our Hunters are up to the task of a little….pest control <haughty chuckle>. For those of you up to the challenge shall be handsomely rewarded with the title of Dragonslayer. It carries much weight in these lands, so I am sure it will suffice. May your endeavors be twisted and your boons be bountiful.

This month we challenge you to fire your those hyperdrives and warm up those flux capacitors. The next hundo event (100% completion) is themed for Space, Futuristic Technolgy, Time Travel, Mech, Cyborgs, and Robots. We're back to making lists of suggestions that you can find on the discord, but it’s pretty easy to see what's fair game.

Fight Club: Part Deux

The First rule of Fight Club is: you do not talk about Fight Club. The Second rule of Fight Club is: you DO NOT talk about Fight Club!

The next challenge is upon us, but this year were all warmed up from being smooth operators. We alway get bloody curing Fight Club.

We’re a little slow getting the announcement out, but better late than never. You could say we were busy handing out knuckle sandwiches.

This month we challenge you to crack your knuckles and beat some new hundos into submission. The next hundo event (100% completion) is hand-to-hand, martial arts, fighting or just straight beat em' up games. We’ll accept any form of Fighter tag and just to mix it up a bit, Ninjas are allowed. We're back to making lists of suggestions that you can find on the discord, but it’s pretty easy to see what's fair game.

Don't forget to keep in touch on discord. It's far more active than this. Let us know what games you intend to tackle.

A New Challenge Has Entered the Arena

Due to Mech Madness sharing a lot of similar tropes with another challenge, we have decided to retire it.

That being said, lets take the energy we put into Mech Madness last year and channel your inner Spice Girl.

This month we challenge you to lace up your boots and do your stretches because we're getting fancy. The next hundo challenge (100% completion) is complete a new hundo with a puzzle, platformer or rhythm elements. We're back to making lists of suggestions that you can find on the discord, but its pretty not hard to see what works.

Let us know what games you intend to platform over and vibecheck your way to victory..

Indie-Pendance MONTH

It's not about the size of the boat, but the motion in ocean.

As we continue our journey into monthly themed challenges, it's time to get a little Indie-Pendant. Let's give a little love to the smaller studios.

The next challenge is upon us and we're ready to warm up from Winter Wayfinder. This month is grab a hot cocoa and cookies, sit back, relax and give a little love to the little guys.

We challenge you to complete a brand new hundo (100% completion) Indie title during the month of February. The rules are simple this time. As mentioned in one of the recent announcement on discord, we’re letting Steam decide for us and looking for the indie tag to be listed on the game’s store page for it to count for the event. If we see the tag on the game you post and everything else checks out per our flex guidelines, you will get role, no questions asked. This is the ideal scenario.

We won't be creating a list of examples for this one since it would be immense. There are so many to choose from.

This is your month to bang out a couple and really dent the backlog.
