With the blessing of floube (the original author) I've released the full source code to the tower defense plugin on github.

The plugin is in a usable state, however there are a few bugs present (AOE towers are not working).

This plugin requires a pretty extensive setup and has many dependencies that need to be installed before it can function. A basic install guide is on github.


Map source and assets for td_firstone are also uploaded to github.

The swamp has been confiscated by the robots. It is your hardest mission yet to clear the swamp of all evil. Ressources are limited and Towers scares.

Currently on the ToDo-list:

-Custom waves for both Rampant and Swampy
-Disable AirWaves for both new maps
-More new maps

Rampant is now playable on all blueprint servers!
The old map is back and so are the memories of the times where we fought robots to the bitter end. Wrestle up your sentries and face the dangers once again. But keep a couple of extra sentries, because the map swamp is soon to be swarmed by robots again!

The EU Tower Defense servers will be moved to a different root.
This should make the servers playable again and lag free.
I expect them to be down for a good half a day, so hang in there.

A lengthy half a year has passed since the servers went offline. We finally returned and are proud to announce a whole new TF2 Tower Defense experience.

Time has dragged on for an ineffable amount and it wizzed by us like a dream. We want to appologize to you die-hard TF2TD fans, that have been requesting servers for so long. Just remember that this is just a hobby after all and no full time job, yet there is no excuse for such a delayed release.

Nevertheless what is new?

Well, the old TF2TD that you all know and all love is in it's complete old state, but rewritten to make changes possible with a few button clicks. This will make it extremly easy for us to balance the game and to give you the best expereince we can.

We also added Tower upgrades! Yes you heard that one right. You are now able to upgrade your favourite towers like you would a sentry or dispenser.

Furthermore we have added the possibility for extended waves. This means we can have a wave consist of more than 8 bots, which adds extra replayability to the game.

This is just a glimpse of what has happened behind the scenes, so there is plenty more to explore on the servers!

We currently have a list at http://tf2td.net/servers which not only includes EU but also US servers.

Currently everything needs balancing and players have also found 2 gamebreaking bugs so far. So just by playing and giving us feedback you are being a great help.
