Vac ban, and a ban on valve is a deserving reward for breaking the rules hard and taking advantage of the stream service.

there is a known psychological mechanism where if somebody is told "do not think of polar bears" they become more receptive to seeing/finding polars bears compared to people who have been told "think of polar bears"

You're getting it wrong, restrict it to owning the game to ENABLE STREAMING but they can still stream the desktop. Sure its good fun but
right now twitch dominates the streaming area hard and I only use twitch.
Unless the service outshines twitch I don't see a reason to waste my bandwidth on steam broadcasting service at the moment and I doubt any of the major sponsored streamers will also.

A VAC ban is for ingame cheaters, it's not something you can just bend and stretch to fit anything that needs banning. It'd be an entirely different type of ban for these streamers.

I think the ____________ is right. They can code most of this away by limiting the sharing to actual STEAM games, not the desktop.

@Nyan - I was thinking the same thing, on the VAC ban. It's the wrong hammer to hit them with.
