A Yuri bundle just started today on Humble Bundle.

There are 10 visual novel yuri games for $12.

Some of the games alone cost more than $12, so I think it's really worth getting if you don't already own the ones in the bundle.

Just thought I'd throw this one out here, it definitely doesn't belong on any list but it is a FMC raunchy/comedic game and a lot of the enemies are monster girls, so some queer situations occur. That being said it is a fully ASCII game that leans much more into the comedic side of horny. Definitely no romance or even sex involved.

that's disappointing but not necessarily unexpected

Re: Road to Empress 2 - I've played both paths to completion and sadly the romance didn't continue. One one path, there was an explicit FxF choice, but it ends badly. The other path might have a moment of subtext. To be honest, I don't think it fits the list.

2 is out no idea if you can continue the gay romance, but fingers crossed

I definitely do not have a copy of Project Absentia and don't know what's up with that game - it is possible there is content I know nothing about, the reviews are sort of confusing, but it is explicitly about a female protagonist with a girlfriend so....
Jun 3 @ 9:19am
Yeah I saw, but it still doesn't make me willing to sit through the other content :(
I've noticed that the older I get, the less I want to engage with bad endings. The real world is sad enough, let me have some positivity in fiction at least.
Jun 3 @ 3:45am
@Caelus
Well I mentioned there are TWO couples for a reason. The second couple is not.
Jun 3 @ 12:16am
I was looking forward to Ultra0 and I had already put it in my cart, but then I read the spoilers and I'll pass.
Tragic yuri is not really my thing... :sad_seagull:
Jun 2 @ 10:32pm
@Hanako on Ultra0
It's a major story element that drives a lot of the character motivations (and not in a cute way).
There are actually 5 protagonists and 2 yuri couples. I don't want to get into spoilers, but one couple goes for heavy drama, while the other goes for a happier conclusion.
It's not a long game, so these elements are front and center.
Jun 2 @ 10:49am
Because WindField Games is amazing. They hosted the Yuri Games Festival last September...
Jun 2 @ 10:41am
https://store.steampowered.com/developer/WindField-Games/sale/suspensegamefestival2026?tab=1

Why does this festival seem to have so many yuri games, a lot of upcoming and untranslated yuri games to be specific. Or maybe I'm being baited by the covers idk
Jun 2 @ 6:14am
sorry i've been having a rough week and keep getting sick - What's the info on that game? I saw you say something about "some of the protagonists are dating", is that a big part of the story or just some cute moments in the background?
May 31 @ 3:21pm
Nomia just came out which I've had tagged as a follow for ages because it has relevant tags, but htey did not send a copy so I don't currently know.

May 31 @ 4:10am
Okay thanks for the clarification!
May 31 @ 2:28am
Syrup and the Ultimate Sweet was just a short gamejam entry, so it didn't really go that far, but it sort of started its own universe/series for Nomnomnami. Caelus is right that it only really goes into subtext territory. A lesbian side-couple appears and the main character Syrup has very strong romantic subtext with two characters, but it's not spelled out, even in their routes.
Butterscotch's crush is confirmed and Gumdrop's attraction to Syrup is also explicit. Syrup is also confirmed to be a lesbian.

That's all. The sequel is not finished yet, so no clue if it will ever go anywhere.
May 30 @ 11:52pm
@lys_xen I played it several years ago, I don't remember much but I do remember that I was disappointed by the lack of yuri.
I think it just had some subtext and/or a little flirting, surely not explicit romance.
May 30 @ 8:00pm
If anyone has info for this game, it would be appreciated:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3946740/Syrup_and_the_Ultimate_Sweet/?curator_clanid=41364563

The tags say yuri, and the store page says it was a game made for Yurijam 2015, but came out on Steam last year.
May 30 @ 2:51pm
Ugh. Well. That is very confusing. It's just enough nodding at yuri to be undeniably deliberate (as that review said, many things are DISTINCTLY romance coded, not family coded) and yet never satisfying, in a way that would honestly have been better off dropping that aspect entirely and just writing a story about found family.

Even every possibility I could see that would leave things open for maybe a romance in the future, they deliberately swerved and undercut.

I'll make a thread for more detail at some point but I think this has to stay off the list.
May 30 @ 9:08am
The 'male character' people are complaining about is a disembodied spirit (at least as far as I've read) who is basically just a male voice that once or twice commented on finding Iris attractive. Which can still be annoying, just clarifying that there is not an actual man there trying to get in the way.

Anyway I'm over halfway through and I do intend to finish. So far it's a probably not, but there's one thing I'm curious about that I will need to get to the end to evaluate.

When the devs sent it to me they described it as "yuri elements" rather than "yuri" and that probably sums it up but we'll see.
May 30 @ 8:24am
According to this review it's not really yuri:
https://gaming.themezzanine.sbs/iris-odyssey-aims-high-but-falls-flat/

One of the protagonists is 12 and the other is 22. While "intimate moments between Fuka and Iris are more romance-coded than family-coded", they are just very few and it doesn't go nowhere, so it seems it's just bait ("Perhaps part of the plan was to get just close enough without confirming it to appeal to multiple audiences").

Furthermore, there seems to be an annoying male character who has often pervy comments about the girls...
May 29 @ 5:21pm
Thank you for your hard work in uncovering the yuri status. I will pray to the yuri goddess that it isn't bait.
May 29 @ 3:39pm
Certainly NOT an adopted daughter at this point in the story - I think it's best to hold judgment until I've had time to read this thing because a lot of the stories coming out of the review translations are way off-base from what I've seen so far.

They first meet because one is the other's tutor.
May 29 @ 3:25pm
Not sure what format Iris Odyssey is in but you might be able to use a tool to extract the CG to save you some time in figuring out if there is anything explicitly yuri or not. Apparently the one girl is the others adopted daughter or something so the gay vibes promo art of them lying down together interlocked fingers might have been intended to be interpreted as some sorta young sister/older sister type bonding or something(?)
May 29 @ 11:48am
... oh wait apparently at some point I was given a key for the full content? Sorry I don't remember that at all! I guess I should go look.
May 29 @ 11:47am
So far the Iris Odyssey reviews are complaining that there's no real yuri and a man is involved but most of them have only played the free part atm.
May 29 @ 6:31am
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1299170/Ova_Magica/
Farming sim where femc can romance/marry women.
May 29 @ 6:06am
To give more content overview from what I saw in a brief test:

The futa character's ♥♥♥♥ showed up without warning and one choice that I absolutely did NOT expect to have anything to do with that led to a blowjob even though I wasn't pursuing her, so people who are not comfortable with futa characters should be wary here. As for male content, there was a scene where you could tell a submissive to service a glory hole. It was optional and you didn't even see the man/♥♥♥♥ in question, it was just about the power.

Obviously this was just a quick sample as I am quite sick this week and have not 100%ed this but that explains why I said what I did in the curation entry.
May 28 @ 9:41pm
A game called Facettes was recently released, and it's described as a woman discovering her homosexuality as she creates her first novel. I haven't played it yet, so I can't say for sure how far the themes go.

May 28 @ 6:11pm
Iris Odyssey is out. It's a VN that certainly appears to be yuri, can't confirm 100% though.

May 28 @ 8:23am
despite all the things I've said, I did pick it up and Vanessa's route is in the game.
May 28 @ 4:55am
The page seems to imply that only one of the female options is included even though they have a screenshot of Vanessa...
May 28 @ 12:05am
Just released, female protagonist, 2 female ROs, yes I know what happened with the original app sucks, and these are notably incomplete (only goes through season 6 out of like, 10) but it is a release on steam with 2 yuri routes so there you go https://store.steampowered.com/app/4314480/Havenfall_is_For_Lovers/
May 27 @ 9:47pm
they've arrested some people on obscenity/distributing pornography for writing fanfic, unclear why they've chosen now specifically to go after small fries when this law has been on the books for years and has so far not been enforced in such a manner. But stay safe Russian friends.
May 27 @ 4:12pm
being lgbtq or an ally in Russia sounds scary. stay safe
May 27 @ 10:59am
Well, dont worry about that - we know how to deal with it and how buy games, that was blocked for us here. Since 2022.
May 27 @ 10:19am
I don't know how many people got hit from Russia yesterday. I got one for Night Cascades (but not my *other* yuri games) and I know ebi-hime had a few.
May 27 @ 8:27am
The reason seems pretty straightforward: Valve is consistently choosing revenue over taking a moral stance against Russia’s persecution of LGBTQ+ people and its ban on LGBTQ+ content.
May 27 @ 6:45am
There is nothing Russia won't ruin. Why is Steam even still available there?
May 26 @ 2:47pm
FYI the Russian government is currently going through a bunch of yuri VNs on Steam and demanding that they be removed from sale in Russia, which Valve is doing automatically and chiding the developers for failing to comply with Russian law.
May 26 @ 10:52am
May 24 @ 5:12am
Oh it looks like there was an "English" tick on it that only covered the GUI earlier, according to a review? so it may have been accidentally approved after someone saying it had english support
May 24 @ 2:11am
https://store.steampowered.com/app/4056350/Serene_Night_Dreamlight/

Just received an English translation. Somehow it's already on the list, but anyway.
May 23 @ 10:17am
i just wanted to let ppl know who might care about stuff like that, not criticise the person who posted it as a suggestion to add into the list or say we have to remove every game that was made by questionable or problematic studios from this steam group.
May 22 @ 3:29pm
It doesn't matter what the studio does as long as the game provided is not a scam, illegal or harms the player (like the AI games by Mew Games did). There are plenty of good games by bad studios, made with crunch or bad workplace situations. If you tried to boycott every game made in such circumstances you might have to drop gaming as a hobby.
This curator at the very least does not generally concern itself with quality or behind the scenes drama. Just cateogrizes things as yuri relevant or not. Otherwise I could make a long list of games you should avoid and I guarantee you own and played some of them.

Also as an aside, encouraging piracy because you think devs were mistreated, so that other devs can't get paid seems quite circular reasoning to me.
May 22 @ 1:14pm
the ZA/UM situation isn't that clear, know some people in the industry who used to work there those people were a nightmare to work with and deserved to get fired. I agree the company should not have wrested the IP out of their control since they created it but it's one side was bad situation. Like keep in mind they didn't fire the entire team just the creative leads.
May 22 @ 5:30am
@B Unit
Zero Parades is boycott tho, for the way the artists and game developers were treated after disco elysium by ZAUM (they didnt get paid accordingly, they were all fired + a new ''team'' was introduced to replace them who just copied the artstyle and basically everything innovative the OG team created first)
please make sure to pirate, watch a playthrough or maybe get a key so they dont profit as much.
May 22 @ 3:48am
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2863680/ZERO_PARADES_For_Dead_Spies/
I've heard the protagonist in this shows sexual attraction towards other women. If I get solid info I'll report back.
