Anyone still player Recettear?

As I was bored I looked at the steam group I made for Recettear. Hundreds of people joined it in the first week. It's been quite a while, but the heart beat of Recettear still goes on. And Easy Game Station released another game, which, unfortunately didn't receive the notoriety it should have.

Japanese earthquake, as you've probably heard.

In the early ours of the morning (In MSK time where I live), Japan suffered an 8.9 magnitude earth quake following the largest tsunami in Japanese history.

For all the Japanese, Otaku and their who have been affected, I wish you well.

Many Hawaiins and people on the Atlantic coast of Canada are affected.

Many video games (and strange pornography) have been delayed as well due to an economic crysis Japan is currently facing due to the earth quake.

Thinking of buying Recettear? Here's an unbiased review.

I personally think that this game is worth buying, and has great replay value. But that's just my opinion, and that would make it biased. For an unbiased review check these out:
http://pc.ign.com/objects/081/081670.html
IGN gave it a 7.5 which is "good", especially since a lot of people at IGN are Otakuphobic.

http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/recettear-an-item-shops-tale
It got a metacritic score of 84 which is pretty impressive. Call of Duty: Black Ops only got a 77.

http://www.gamespot.com/pc/puzzle/recettear/review.html?om_act=convert&om_clk=gsbottomnav&tag=quicklinks%3Breviews
That one got an 85.

http://www.pcgamer.com/2010/10/18/recettear-review/
PC gamer gave it a good 76.

Living in a capitalist country.

After the collapse of the Great Soviet Union :'(, I found myself struggling to make a living because of the economy collapse. Soon after that Russia became capitalist, but this isn't a good thing for most of the population, it was the start to pain and misery that followed.

Capitalism is an economic system in which the means of production are all privately owned and operated for private profit. This means that the owner can change the supplies, demand, distrubution and wadges rather then central planning by the government.

In Capitalism when you fall down you don't get back up.

There wasn't really a working age established so 5 and 10 year olds would be working in terrible conditions often abused.

I found myself losing money fast so I had to come up with a plan and quick! During this time the economy was REALLY bad so I exploited this fact: We opened a small business in Uptown. I was doing well in all, but it's hard to afford the wadges to employ people so we just paid them below minimum wadge. During a recession people will take really crappy jobs for really bad wadges. After about a year or so another store was opened in downtown which increased business as it was in a good location, but by this time the economy had gotten *a little* better and other businesses were taking away the compitition, so that branch had to be sold only after 2 and a half months of operation. Eventually the main business was sold as a good price was offered.

In capitalism you will only become rich if you are on top of a business chain. Some people were working 50% below minimum wadges lifting cargo all day while some people were living the big life making money from those workers....

Capitalism, Ho?
