Important News: New Official CPC Group

Due to the groups owner going AWOL we've created an official group to replace it, with the CPC Staff holding ownership.

Sorry for the inconvenience but we've exhausted all other options. Essentially this is what happens when you use a defacto group instead of one you own yourself. It's a bit irritating really.

All further announcements, including reader's night on our new BC2 server will be posted on the new group. Please head on over and join, and again apologies for the bother. :sadface:

CPC Modern Warfare Grouping Group Group

Join the group chat and ask for an invite. Thereafter you can use the group chat to create game groups and stomp unfortunate merc players repeatedly. It makes the game a lot more enjoyable, seriously.

CSS Custom Map Nights

Custom map nights are now scheduled on the CSS server. They'll automatically start via an end of round mapvote from 6PM - 12AM on Wednesdays.

New CPC TF2 Server

CPC has a new 24 player TF2 server @ 85.236.101.92:29360

Currently it's set to MPUK default settings with a full maplist. We're looking for suggestions for settings and add-ons as well as a few mature and reliable admins who want to play there.

Reader's Nights - April

Because this coming issue was a 3 weeker instead of a 4 weeker the Reader's Night Calendar has had to be reshuffled.

The normal 1st Weds of the month event has been shifted back to the 30th of April, so it can get into the subsequent issue.

The Hook-Up nights are also mentioned in the mag, but there's only a few days between the magazine hitting the shelves (on the 21st) and the main event.

The CSS and TF2 hook-ups are even earlier, with the CSS one falling on the 19th, so only subscribers will see it in the mag before it happens.

The TF2 one is a little later, hopefully to give people a chance to reinstall and update, should they want to play.

I'm not sure about how the nights will pan out next month. They may end up at the end of the month as well.
