We have a new 7 days to die PvP server we would like to share with anyone interested in playing there.

7 days to die is a hardcore zombie survival game that is a mixture of minecraft, rust and dayz. You need to scavenge to stay alive avoid zombies and actual hordes that path around the map farm supplies and build a base to survive both other players and hordes of zombies that become extremely aggressive and run fast during the night hours.

It is a TRUE sandbox in the fact that you are not limited to building on a frame like rust or unable to rip up the terrain to make pits and traps. You can make a giant castle of your own design or dig a hidden cave off in the woods with a secret entrance.

Raid other peoples bases with a multitude of tools and explosive devices you make from finding recipes while raiding NPC zombie controlled towns. Beef up your defenses with different kinds of traps and using materials you find in the world to upgrade your walls and advanced thru the different building tiers to make your base stronger to survive attacks from other players and hordes that wonder upon your base.

But it does not just stop with zombies being the threat, there is infection, zombie dogs that hunt you and smell you further if you have meat on you, giant flying bees, spider zombies that climb buildings and more.

Are you tired of dealing with admin abuse or admins that do not play the game and just mess with everyone else for their own fun?
Are you sick of joining a server you know is good but never has an active admin on to ban the cheaters?
Do you hate an "admins idea" of what loot tables should be or blocked crafting C4 cause they are scared to be raided?
Are you sooo tired of searching the server list for ever just to try and find a server that does not have some kind of problem?

Well that is the same reason I set up a server for the community to play in to deal with these core issues that seem to plague most other servers.

Here in Vortex we have NO edited loot tables, NO blocks on crafting and ZERO admin abuse. The admins on Vortex are not only active but they
play the game like everyone else. Admins keep the peace and do everything in their power to track down cheaters and ban them off the server.
Admins are players first ALWAYS and an admin when an issues arises for them to deal with. They gather supplies, they build bases and they get raided
like every other player on the server.

New Rust server due to bad admins

We broke away from Funky and FDgods for reasons which most of you already know. Funky was paying for the server and starting to get a bit out of hand banning people for small reasons such as raiding him and small admin abuse was taking place. We at clanvortex had a talk and felt it was in our best intrest to cut ties and move on to hosting our own server with our funding from people we cant trust as admin.

Our IP got switched due to us beinig moved to a DDoS protection server. The IP switch sucks I know but now our server is protected from DDoS so that is worth 10 IP switches.

Our new IP is 192.99.13.129:28065

To join open your console with F1 and type:
net.connect 192.99.13.129:28065

Once you join it will be in your history and you can just join from there.

New Rust server

Clanvortex now has its own Rust server and we invite everyone to come play with us.

PvP/Sleepers JUST started so fresh wipe.

You can either find the server in the list or open the console by hitting F1 and in the console type
net.connect 192.99.13.129:28065

Once you have connected to the server once it will be in your history after you restart your game.

We have a very good way of detecting cheaters and will do our best to keep all cheaters out of the server. Those of you that know me know I run a tight ship and allow ZERO admin abuse so if your tired of admin abuse and cheaters but just want to play rust come play with us. :)

War Z Battle with the fanboys event

So I have been playing a lot of war Z lately and I have been posting on the boards a LOT. I get fanboys of war z coming down on me all the time about anything I have to see about the game. I am not hating on the game by any means I just see things that bug me and I point them out.

Long story short they are hold an event ONLY for the fanboys of the forums and the War Z community and I thought that was REALLY lame so I went into their thread and started talking some crap on the fact that it was a fanboy event.

I guess they didnt want people to think that so they invited me to the event tomorrow :)

The event starts tomorrow at 7pm PST and will be streamed by my self as well as many others from the event. We are all going to get weapons and items spawn for us in game and will fight it out in a kind of the hill style fight in clearview. For more information check the link below:

Planetside 2 and ClanVortex

A lot of us are playing Planetside2 on the West server of Connery. We are have open recruiting for the guild right now and always run a huge platoon of at least 2-3 squads. Many of our members are working on sunderer certs for spawns Destroyer already has one so as a platoon/squad we have good resorces to push the battle in our direction.

If you are interested you can look for a Vortex member in game (tag VTYX) or post on the group here and will get you an invite ASAP. Hope to see some of you there.

Tekkit mincraft PvP server FRESH RESTART

Check out our fresh Tekkit minecraft PvP server. We have player shops, magic shops which you buy spells with exp you have earned, mobarena where you can win prizes and arena marks to buy items from the arena shop w/ 16 different custom classes to pick from. We have a full working protection system through protectionstones with tekkit fix so no one can just nuke through your base, use redmatter hammer or something like that. Stargate system with user access to make your own private gate.

We have SOME things on EE turned off cause they are OP and allow you to make everything out of nothing. Philosopher's stone are enabled.

We just restarted out server so you can get a fresh start with everyone else.

WHAT IS TEKKIT?
Tekkit is a minecraft mod built of top of bukkit. It adds a TON of extra things to the game, many extra ore and more recipes then you will know what to do with. To play tekkit all you need to do is download the tekkit launcher from:

Right on the main page just download the Technic Launcher. You log in through that with your regular minecraft and you are good to go.

WHAT IS TEKKIT?
Tekkit is a multi player form of technic a popular mod for minecraft that adds all kind of tech into the game with new ores, rare minerals and other goodies to increase your minecraft playing experience. It has a built in crafting chart so no need to pull up any wiki to learn to craft all the new items that come with tekkit. You will need to get the tekkit launch if you do not already have it. Its just like the minecraft launcher and it still logs in through minecraft it just uses the tekkit interface. You can get the tekkit launcher at:

WHAT IS THE FALLOUT?
The Fallout is a tekkit based, radioactive environment , hardcore pvp server with lots of extras hosted by clanvortex.

Player protected zones using protectionstones, public and private stargate creation to get around the world, player driven real world currency physical chest shops using currencies that people would find in the world rather then some useless money (shops also protected with player set worldguard flags). We have a full working and balanced magic spell shop where you can purchase lifetime spells in exchange for farmed up experience points.

We have a fully functioning Mob arena with 18 unique classes to pick from. Win small prizes as you progress further in the arena as well as Ghast Tears (AKA Arena points) which can be used to buy different goods from the arena shop. (PvP arena in development)

World PvP anywhere that is not a protected zone is fair game. Any player that does not buy a protection stone from the shop to protect their base you can steal, loot, pillage and take what you can. Kill people and teabag them while you take there lootz. MOST all is fair in The Fallout hardcore PvP.

Whether your goal is world PvP, gaining spells through experience, moving up the tech line of tekkit, competing in arenas or just plain out protected castle building The Fallout has it all.

Just watch out for the acid rain...
