Great game; a vast improvement in graphics and gameplay from Half-Life. Definitely worth the 6 year development.

One of the best mods ever. Excellent level design, character design.... It's just an AMAZING "reSourcification" of Half Life :D Very good voice acting too! Except for the marines IMO... and some animations are a bit.... well it's okay, you guys are not professionals, just super fans of the HL universe like me :) CHEERS, and THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH

Чтобы добавить этот мод в библиотеку Steam, нужно сделать следующее:
1. Скачиваем три файла отсюда - http://www.gamefront.com/black-mesa-is-live-download-it-here
Там всё по-иностранному, но всё поймёте, три зеленых строчки под изображением Фримена.
2. Помещаем все три файла в любую папку.
3. Устанавливаем (установщик сам найдет путь в нужную папку Steam).
4. Выходим из Steam и заходим обратно.
5. Результат - игра в библиотеке Steam.
6. Тем, у кого нет в Steam ни одной игры на движке Sourse, нужно будет установить Инструмент "Source SDK Base 2007". Устанавливается из Steam - Библиотека - Инструменты.

This game is way too fun having the time of my life. It's a shame the the hl2 player base is shrinking because I feel like this game crushes so many crap shooters out there that people paid for.

I'm at university where torrent downloading is blocked, but steam works just fine. The direct download mirrors download at like 10 kb/s when I could be downloading at close to 8 MB/s through steam. Is there an ETA on when it will be up through steam?
