Here we go again ... the year 2021 is coming to an end!

We at Steam Ladder wish you a Happy New Year, bursting with fulfilling and exciting opportunities. And remember, if opportunity doesn't knock, build a door!

And yes, we are still alive! The Rep System is offline for half a year now, and we know that this is not how things should go, we are sorry that this is taking so long - In 2022 you will hopefully see us more often again! We thank you for your understanding and continued support, it means a lot!

Discord Server Update

Hey everyone!

We finally added the Tatsu Discord Bot to our server. You can now buy rewards with server points earned on our Discord just by chatting.

What does that mean? You can buy rewards in our new reward shop and even get perks for your SL Profile without spending real money.

Besides we updated a few channels, expanded our FAQ and introduced clear Rep Rules to make our Rep System even fairer.

Introducing Steam Ladder Rep!

We are excited to announce a new reputation system within SteamLadder!

With this reputation system, you can

Give users positive rep
Give users negative rep
Submit reports of users to our team of moderators (Requires proof to be submitted within a ticket)
Appeal reports submitted on you with a set of dedicated Moderators to work on the appeal with you

Reputation levels and Conditions

Everybody starts with a NEUTRAL reputation and 0 rep points. There are different levels of reputation, the conditions and consequences are listed below.

BAD Reputation
Condition: Less than 0 reputation points or an accepted report against you.
Consequences: You can not give other users rep if you have bad reputation. You can still report users.
NEUTRAL Reputation
Condition: Between 0 and 25 reputation points or a pending report against you.
Consequences: Your rep weight is +1 for positive rep and -1 for negative rep.
GOOD Reputation
Condition: More than 25 reputation points.
Consequences: Your rep weight is +3 for positive rep and -3 for negative rep.
EXCELLENT Reputation
Condition: This rank is manually given to trusted and verified community members.
Consequences: Your rep weight is +5 for positive rep and -5 for negative rep.
Special Ranks
Special rep ranks are reserved for members in the Steam community that manage other communities, large groups or do other important contributions to the Steam or Steam Ladder platform. Stop by our Discord if you think you apply.

You can find the new rep system on any profile on SteamLadder.com, underneath the name in the "Rep" tab!

Can you remove/give rep to the user more than once?

No, you can only rep the same user once. You can also report a user only once. There are exceptions when given or received reps appear to be spam, automated or in any other way not legit. Our staff members can neutralize and mass remove rep and are constantly monitoring the platform.
