Shadowloo Showdown Skullgirls Side Tournament

Shadowloo Showdown is one of two fighting game majors in Victoria and while Skullgirls isn't a main game, we will be conducting a side tournament for it.

Competitor entry closes tomorrow but you only need a spectator pass to participate in side tournaments (which is considerably cheaper)

If you decide on going, come into the group chat and have a chat with us or simply just go to the guys playing Skullgirls on the day.

Battle Arena Melbourne is a Melbourne fighting game major being held at the CQ Hotel in the CBD from 9th to 11th of May, and there is a Skullgirls Side Tournament organised to run ON SATURDAY 10th from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. I am the main organiser, Masterdean is helping with running pools, annoy Tomo if you want to annoy him about anything, or if you just want to annoy him.

THERE WILL BE PRIZES FOR TOP 4!

If you wish to attend purely for Skullgirls, and/or any of the newbie tournaments, you need only to purchase spectator pass, which is just $5 for the day, $10 for the whole weekend.

OH yeah of course, if you want to sign up just let me know beforehand, you have the whole day to let me know.
Tomo and I will be bringing our laptop setups. Grand finals might be livestreamed(still not 100% sure about it) on a PS3 setup, to which if you have no ps3 stick/pad I'm certain one can be provided.

[MELB] April 5th SKULLGIRLS:ENCORE at BAM and BAM Qualifier

Yo, I'm gonna be running SKULLGIRLS: ENCORE at the BAM Qualifier on April 5th at ~~2:00 PM~~ as a DIY tournament. Venue is detailed in the link.

Tournament will be run on mine and Tomo's laptops to accomodate for all players, on the up to date versions of retail Skullgirls:Encore with ds3tool/motioninjoy for ps3 pad players(if someone knows how to actually properly use ds3tool pls let me know).

The qualifier is free to enter. The prize for the qualifier is seeding points for the Skullgirls: Encore DIY tournament at BAM and Mysterious Candies yet to be announced.

If Big Band is released into the retail version of Encore before Saturday, then he'll be usable in the tournament. He'll probably be available for BAM barring some unfortunate twist of fate happening yet again, knock on wood.

The format for the tournamnt is Double Elimination best 2/3, Winners, Losers, and Grand Finals are 3/5.

Time for Skullgirls: Encore tournament at BAM is TBA.
