📢 GCG Zombie Escape Revival Announcement

Hello everyone — as many of you know, we’ve been working on reviving our beloved GCG server, and we're now closer than ever!

🛠️ Major Server Changes
Compared to our previous ZE server, here’s what’s new:

• Full Reset
All bans, restrictions, credits, and store items have been wiped.
Originally, we planned to port data from the old server, but due to technical issues and data limitations, this wasn’t feasible. A clean slate ensures fairness and better performance moving forward.

• Rebuilt From the Ground Up
The server was fully redesigned with improved compatibility and future scalability in mind. Notable features now include:
• Working !hide and EntWatch
• Advanced Chat Processor and AFK Manager
• Client Preferences (Cookies)
• In-game CS:GO-style radio menus
• Custom Weapon Attributes
• A completely rewritten and improved store system
• And much more coming!

And now onto the main Revival event:

🎁 Early Participation Rewards
Players who join before the event will receive:
• 1,000 credits (delivered after the event)
• A one-time-only Revival Tester role (delivered after the event)

Singapore Rust Servers Launch!

We are excited to announce that GhostCap Gaming has launched 4 new Rust servers in SEA. This is an exciting time with more and more players each day joining us on our journey!

The servers have been freshly wiped and are ready for you to join. Get a head start on every other pleb.

I personally will be playing on the 10x so if you think you can raid me, I would like to see you try.

To join one of the servers. Simply load Rust and search for GhostCap. Or you can press F1, type client.connect followed by the IP address you want to join. For example client.connect 51.79.177.164:28017

Here is a quick run down of the 4 servers we run.

New Singapore Warmup Server

We're happy to announce that our newest SG5 dedicated server in Singapore has launched. To start the party, we have released a performance version of our popular Warmup server that is based around Dust 2.

Our specially compiled Linux flavor runs smoothly and offers high performance thanks to its customized kernel, so you can play without server lag or drops anywhere (0.001 var).

Over the coming weeks you will see some more servers launch from us. We currently have a huge backlog of things we need to attend to, but we have also been expanding our team at the same time. Hopefully this means things get done faster and we bring you the best experience we possibly can.

Some Major Changes (Earn Double XP!)

As you may have noticed, we have been working hard on lifting the quality of all our servers with a bunch of updates in the past few days.

As our admin team has expanded, We had to spend a lot of time on the back end to make their jobs easier. This will mean better support, faster support, and quicker updates for all of our players.

The biggest change for players right now is Steam group rewards for simply being a part of the GCG group. All you need to do is to be a member, no need to wear the tags! (join here: https://steamcommunity.com/groups/GhostCapGaming)

**Here is what you get right now:**
-2x EXP for all kills on ALL GhostCap servers
-Access to premium tier commands
-Access for quick rebuy weapons

Since this system is set up, we will be able to add more things in the future.

We have also made some changes to ZE such as movement and some other quality of life changes. As always, we won’t really be discussing what movement changes we made, you can work this out for yourself, but the change has been implemented for the past few days now! I will say that bosses and lasers should be easier!

@Oylsister#1296 has also been working super hard on the new !guns menu for us. This is a totally new redesign so there are going to be bugs/changes from the existing system so please be patient while we figure all this stuff out.

We will be adding some more features/fixes to the rest of our servers over the next week so if you spot any bugs, type !bug in-game on any server and report them to the team!
