KyoAni Studio Attacked

Hey all. Bit of a downer post but I wanted to spread awareness of the tragedy of a recent event. One of the KyoAni studios in Kyoto was set alight and has taken the lives of at least 33 people with many more injured. The suspect of the attack is currently in the hospital and is waiting to be questioned. There isn't much info at this time that I can gather but I'll list some news articles below.

There is also a GoFundMe campaign set up by Sentai Filmworks to help aid the studio and the families involved. If you wish to support and donate, please follow the link in this tweet:

Production and Shipping Update #17

The Clannad kickstarter merchandises has been shipped outside of US early last month to our door steps as group together.

By now, everyone who has received has backed for them should have received them by them. If not, feel free to check you emails & contact Sekai Project for it.

The anthology manga is a worth a read, I would recommend getting it a shot if you haven't got chance.

Out of the blue, we got the sequel of Clannad on Steam that's follow on one of our favorite heroines "Tomoyo" I heard it's pretty deep tale so strap yourselves in for a ride.

The end?

Well not exactly. Sekai Project hasn't sent out the digital rewards like OST, fanbook, and Mabinogi album and the signed rewards like the Clannad gamebox & shikishi & taperty yet.

Sekai Project & Visual Arts had some bumps along the Kickstarter campaign with the delays but hopfully we will get new Clannad news sooner & not have to wait half of our lives for this.

I personally curious to know what the specially signed shikishi & taperty is gonna look like and what Clannad character did Itaru Hinoue draw for us this time?

Sekai Project - CLANNAD Production Update #10

Hello my fellow dango-lovers! Hope you're all staying warm! (although I'm not having any trouble in Florida)

Make sure you check out Sekai Project's latest production update for important information about physical goods shipping address lockdown. If you want to change your address, you have up until 2/26 to do it on Backerkit.

The post also mentions that we'll start receiving our goods next month! Everything will be done in two separate shipments as explained in Update 7, so in March we can expect to see the physical copy of the game (yay!), the Tapestry, OST, and mini-shikishi (depending on your pledge). As for when wave 2 is, hopefully it won't be too much longer.

For those who are getting physical goods, what are you most excited for? I would say the physical copy of the game, As I was writing that, I took another look at the detailed list from Kickstarter and I honestly can't decide. I'll have to wait to see them all in person.

BIG NEWS! Tomoyo After ~It's A Wonderful Life~ Translation Announced!

They haven't said much, but VisualArt's/Key announced that they would be officially translating Tomoyo After into English, heavily based on previous fan translations. They also mentioned that Little Busters! will be translated, using the same concept.

CLANNAD Production Update #5

Hello all!

Sekai Project has yet again posted another production update for our cherished franchise!

The update shows off the very cool Dangopedia addition and goes into more detail about the achievements. In addition, there's a lovely preview for the tapestry and updates on the physical rewards progress. They did mention that there will likely be a delay for the physical goods, but to me it seems worth it to make sure they get it all perfect!

Another important message is, if you were a backer, you should've received an e-mail with a SurveyMonkey link. This is where you specify how you want your name & country listed in the backer credits of the manual, so make sure you fill it out or you won't be listed!

Today Sekai Project posted another HUGE update for the Official CLANNAD Steam English release!!!

They've added some really cool features, including 22 Steam achievements and the aptly-named Dangopedia!

Clannad VN Translation

Some of you have asked whether the novel was still being worked on and we can certainly guarantee that it is. Here is a link to their last update since the 30th May.
There hasn’t been much from them mainly due to the conventions that they have been attending and the hard work they are putting into the novels they release.
But that is not to cause any concern as we have heard back from a fellow fan who tweeted from the Sekai Project stall that the novel is planned to be released sometime in November!

Charlotte! - Nifix

If you have not heard, Key’s new anime Charlotte[myanimelist.net] is now airing. I have not watched it yet but I expect very good things!

Synopsis:
“Very few adolescent boys and girls have an onset of special abilities. Yuu Otosaka uses his ability unbeknownst to others in order to lead a satisfying school life.
