Many passages in the Bible are deeply troubling to me. Exodus 21:7-11: in particular implies that not only is it okay for a father to sell his own daughter into slavery, but she shall not be freed in 7 years like male slaves, but rather be kept forever as long as she is taken proper care of.
I could understand ignoring this passage if it were just in some random book in the bible, but this is in Exodus. One of the fundamental books of the Old Testament.
I'm a Laveyan Satanist (look it up before you kick me from the group or ignore me) and I'm curious of the opinions of religious people on this matter.
