TM8 had six of us on Discord last night. We decided to play a few hours of Mosh Pit (no DLC) together. It was good fun and quite nostalgic for most of us. Most played like 4 hours every night back in 2015. It's generally a casual group who spends most of our time laughing.

TM8 merged its Steam groups last year but many still find this old, retired group. Steam will not fix the event system here, so if you're looking to play Advanced Warfare, be sure to join the new group and MOST IMPORTANTLY, join us on TM8s Discord.

We now coordinate games on Discord. This gaming chat system is forever free, quick to install, and supports both text and mic communications.

Sledgehammer is giving away a free WWII weapon each weekend.

So we're already organizing games every Friday, and hoping to see games other days too. When we can, we'll play DLC maps and modes including Grapple. Regardless, we always play rare objective modes.

TM8 is restructuring our groups on Steam. It may take a while but makes the most sense since Steam events have proven to be too buggy. Now, Discord will be the key to game events and other news.

TM8 HAS MOVED TO DISCORD

TM8 is now organizing games using Discord rather than Steam groups and TeamSpeak.

Discord is a simple, free, and lightweight gaming tool that helps us organize games. It alerts you of events while in-game while letting you choose what specifically interest you. Although it runs works fine in any browser, downloading the Windows or smartphone app is best. Microphone voice communications are supported but not required. It also runs fine along-side TeamSpeak, Skype, Ventrillo, etc.

ADVANCED WARFARE CONTEST
TO WIN BLACK OPS lll

We will be holding an Advanced Warfare competition for a chance to win 1 Call of Duty Black Ops III game key

Our fellow TM8, Gumbee, has offered to giveaway several keys for Black Ops III. This competition is only for existing members of TM8's Steam Groups. The purpose isn’t to recruit members, but simply to say thanks for all the support and great games.

Want to compete but already own Black Ops III? Consider giving the key to a friend. Be part of the fun!!!!

RULES OF ENGAGMENT

For this contest, all participants must be in USA North America.
You will required to commit to all the games that will be played in the competition.
Your Steam Profile must be public, show at least 2 Years of Service, with no bans of any kind.
All participants must register by email before the deadline. See below.

All participants are subject to approval by our judges.

NOTE: This product is region-locked and CAN'T be activated in the following countries: Japan, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Iraq, Syrian Arab Republic, Yemen, Egypt, Lebanon.

GAME MODES

We’re selecting several unusual modes for this competition. No DLC maps will be required. Specific maps will be chosen the day of the competition. Class choices will be pre-set for everyone (details will follow).

UPLINK with Tac-19
SEARCH AND DESTROY with Crossbows & Launcher
HARDPOINT with MDL
MOMENTUM with Spike Drones

Members of each winning team earns an additional 1000 points per match.

Contestants must play through all matches to win. Scores from all matches will be totalled. The contestant with the highest total score wins.

In the event of a tie, top contestants will continue to a sudden death match.

How do I register?

Register no later than midnight EST Thursday, Nov 19th. Send email to contest@tm8gaming.net and include a link to your Steam Profile
Your Steam Profile must be public and show at least 2 Years of Service under your badges.

What time will the competition take place?

CONTEST: Friday 11/20/15 9:00pm EST

Ready up by 9:00pm EST! Registered contestants must be online, in-game, and ready in the ‘COD AW Standard [TM8]’ Group Chat Room. If we have more than 12 contestants online at that time, those who registered first will be allowed to compete.

We’ll start with a warm up match (no points) at 9:15 pm EST.

How do I receive my black ops 3 key upon winning.

Via e-mail or private chat

I have a VAC ban but it was not for cheating.

Cheating is one of the biggest problems facing PC gaming. We cannot risk associating with those who may have used their accounts irresponsibly or could do so again.
These are our rules. If you feel you were wrongly accused, contact Valve customer service for assistance.

Why are only USA North America members allowed to enter?

Ping issues. We need stable internet for all who will play.

Will there be another competition? For those of us outside the USA North America?

Black Ops III Coming Soon

TM8 proved very successful in Advanced Warfare with 1000+ members, still actively playing every day. Thanks all!

Our Black Ops III group is ready to go. In the first months, we will be helping connect members with the same region (ping), with similar goals and skill levels. Over the year, we hope to keep you all connected and finding good games all year.

Legit_TM8 Certification

TM8 is starting a peer-reviewed certification group called Legit_TM8 to recognize players who support fair play, accountability, education, teamwork, and diversity in the PC gaming community. Membership will be invite only and will grow slowly while we develop this process.

TM8 Clan Option

Legit_TM8 members will also have the option to join TM8 in upcoming clan wars earning those exclusive clan achievements and unlocks.

TM8 will now be organizing Call of Duty co-op games with a new group. This will include Zombies, Extinction, Survival, and the new Co-op Campaign coming in Black Ops III.

Lastly, TM8 will now support older Call of Duty - Multiplayer titles as well including Black Ops II, Modern Warfare III, Ghosts, and others.

Now that the Black Ops III Beta is done, we'll be resuming Advanced Warfare.

Make sure you have your DLC ready to go. Today and Tomorrow we've Scheduled games of Grapple.

NOTE: I personally will be out of town this weekend, but the group Chat Room helps find games whether I or our other moderators are online or not. Keep it open anytime you're wanting to play and it will work like an extended friends list. Have fun and play nice!

NEW RECKONING MAPS

We should be getting the newest Reckoning DLC this Thursday. Those of you with the DLC will want to find others in the CHAT ROOM. Those without it are always welcome there too. But invited others to the non-DLC lobbies you're trying to build.

Fracture: An ice digging facility located near one of the poles. Here you must fight it out on a sinking ice cap covered with buildings and windmills, watch out though, as half way through a match some of the ice will sink!

Overload: Located in the middle-east, the teams fight it out in a luxury hotel filled with gold and expensive items. Half way through the match multiple plasma-lights start glowing, which can be shot to release a burst of electricity, killing all nearby enemy team.

Quarantine: Located on an island riddled with a disease outbreak, you must fight in close quarter corridors, long lengths outside or in the central hub. The map-based scorestreak brings a nearby ship to bomb the island.

Swarm: A suburb in Korea, filled with cars and litter. Players must fight in the small buildings or on the main streets. Activate the map-based scorestreak to control a cluster of assault-drone type bots, wrecking havoc for the enemies.

Descent: The four characters; Lilith, Kahn, Decker and Lennox successfully evacuated the ship and have now sought refuge on an island. New zombie additions include purple and orange teleporting zombies, a new weapon; the Trident. A new scorestreak includes an XS1-Goliath fitted with seeking missiles and shoulder missiles.
