1.1.6 Patch Notes

Hello, Ghost Vigilantes! This is Dvora Studio. We have prepared a patch based on the work we’ve completed over the past week. This update includes ongoing optimization and major fixes for the behavior patterns of Roamers, which many of you have mentioned as a significant concern.

Optimization Updates

1. An option to toggle Bloom on and off has been added.

2. An Error Message feature has been added for game crashes (such as black screens or freezes). This will help us identify exactly which category of issue is causing the game to stop. After tracking the reports submitted so far, we have narrowed down the potential causes to a few factors. While reports of these issues have decreased since version 1.1.5 due to extensive optimization, we will continue to monitor the situation closely.

3. A loading screen has been added to the initial game startup before entering the main menu. Since loading speeds vary by device, the black screen during loading often led players to mistakenly believe the game had crashed.

Gameplay Updates

1. Fixed an issue where loading save data during combat would sometimes result in an immediate death right after the game loaded.

2. Improved the behavior of Roamers so they no longer rush and attack players while the character is still in the middle of a movement animation. We acknowledge that this was an unfair mechanic and have corrected it in the 1.1.6 patch.

3. The quest item required to save Jihyun have been improved, as many players found them too well-hidden or easy to miss.

4. Fixed a phenomenon where enemies appeared to enter from the opposite direction when entering certain areas. 8. Fixed an issue where enemies would disappear after reaching the source of a noise they were investigating.

Achievement Updates

1. Fixed a bug where Steam achievements were not updating correctly in certain environments during version 1.1.5 gameplay.

Additional In-Game Content

1. Fixed functional errors in the Jukebox UI.

this is Dvora Studio again. This patch focuses on items that are prioritized for their importance rather than urgency, which is why we conducted extensive internal playtesting. Below are the details for Patch 1.1.5, and we hope these updates improve your gaming experience.

1. Fixed an issue where all items, not just restricted ones, could not be moved in the quick slots and inventory when playing as Mina.

2. Fixed the positioning of certain elements on some map UIs that were displayed differently from their actual locations.

3. Fixed resolution-related bugs that occurred when switching between devices (such as PC and Steam Deck).

4. Reduced the loading time on the black screen after the logo by half when launching the game on Steam Deck.

5. Adjusted the 2nd round of the boss fight with Hwaju so that new enemies will not be summoned until the current ones are defeated. (This prevents enemies from continuously stacking up.)

6. Adjusted the 1st + 2nd round of the boss fight with Hwaju so that players can loot health recovery items. This addresses the feedback that many players were unable to prepare for the difficulty because they didn't know when the boss fight would start and couldn't visit the shop in time.

7. Fixed an issue where the game behaved abnormally when attempting to load a save at the exact moment of a Game Over.

8. Fixed several typos in the Korean text.

9. Fixed issues where incorrect portraits were displayed in some dialogues and corrected various in-game icons that were not shown as intended.

Through multiple playtests, we believe the battle with Hwaju has become much smoother than before without becoming too easy, but we are very curious to hear your thoughts. We hope this patch proves helpful to your overall gaming experience. Thank you for your continued support and interest.
