10/10 game with 10/10 humour. I loved the quirky characters, the room designs, and the juicy animations. The mystery hooked me from the very start and kept me invested until the end. ✶⋆.˚⁠

Tangle Tower 3/5: Solidní prolog detektivně-deduktivnímu titulu se sympatickou dvojicí. Akorát po prologu to zčistajasna useknutě bez závěru končí, místo aby se to rozjelo. Navíc to končí nedůstojně až směšně přitaženě za vlasy. Ani ne tak identitou pachatele či jeho motivací; to naopak je podařené. Ovšem "jak to vše stíhal skloubit a ještě se ho netýkal jeden efekt v závěru“ zdařilé není.

To, že se pak tvůrci ani nenamáhali se závěrem, s vyústěním pro postavy (hlavní i vedlejší) ani zápletky, je na pár facek. Dvojnásob, když to v jádru je podařený odpočinkový mix lehké dedukce, vizuální novely a drobných puzzlů.

Působí to jako první epizoda několikadílné sezóny, nikoli jako ucelené dílo. Pokud se vám však líbila jednička a chcete více téhož, dvojka přesně to nabízí. Nepřináší nové prvky, obohacení konceptu, delší dobu či lepší případ. Vše je shodné, jen případ je jiný. A kvůli onomu nezdařilému závěru je případ, a tedy hráčovy dojmy, horší jedničky. Jakkoli "herně" je to nemlich to samé v bleděmodrém.

Amazing game! Beautiful art and animations, impeccable character design, and balanced puzzles to solve! The plot is also very engaging and made me theorise a bunch as I play. My only critique is that the pacing at the end is a little quick. I wished there was more foreshadowing on the motive, but nevertheless, highly recommend this game!

The rest of this is just me yapping bc I want to show some appreciation to the team behind the game. I feel like I grew up on Detective Grimoire in those early flash game era, so I was excited for this game. It ended up beyond my expectations.

• Absolutely STUNNING art and character designs. I love the different silhouettes explored for each of the character. Their rooms also aptly reflect each of their personality. Speaking of rooms, the use of light and foreground/background in them are *chef's kiss*. And the animations!! My favs are Flora's hair and Penny's wing arms.
  
• The voice acting are superb! Combined with the writing, they add SO MUCH to the characters. It was such a joy to hear them speak every time.
  
• The music also encapsulates the vibe of the characters and rooms so well! My fav has to be Penny's music. I could definitely tell what type of person she was just from the music haha
  
• Thank you for including the art gallery, I loved combing through every single one of them and seeing how the designs progressed!
  
• I loved how the story unfolds as well. Nothing like a mystery game in a mansion full of intriguing characters! I was hoping for a bit more clues dropped to point to the who and why. I know there were a lot of crumbs left in the lab and study, but it still felt a little like an info dump by Penelope at the end.

Yap over! Now the biggest mystery of Tangle Tower: where is their kitchen?? What do they eat on this isolated island full of inedible fruit and shimmering water??? I suppose some secrets are better left unknown.
