My Index just crashes allot. I'll have to look into later. Back to windows in the meantime.

Same story with the "vrserver": it doesn't exit, have to kill it with "-9".
Deb 13 + backports, amdgpu RX 6650 XT. No custom libs or anything else installed.

Update: if I just start SteamVR without using it and then close it, then it exits fine.
But if I use it for a game, then it gets stuck and can't exit on its own.

Update 2: not sure what changed in my system (I check system updates everyday and install them all if available), but "vrserver" is not being stuck anymore, exiting fine for now! I'll let you guys know if that change. Keep up the great Linux work!

and there we go again ,, oh no, fng steamVR encoutered an unexpected problem -203! SO PLEASE let us decide when the heck we wana updated our working stuff, instead of inforcing your broken fixes !!!

ha , not with steamVR support , but theres ways round it till steamVR borks it with in next update

pronblem with this is that it overides config file and you cant start steamVR to creat new one and if edited it overides as bad config , just like previous beta !

enableLinuxVulkanAsync is still not working in Linux with the Valve Index.

Valve, can you please let us roll back to previous versions? I paid a lot for this headset and there's been multiple occurrences that your updates literally ruined my weekend plans. It wouldn't be so bad if we weren't forced forward constantly. I understand that you need to make progress especially with the new headset coming out, but please I just want to use the hardware I paid for.

How about fixing the update Problem when controller needs to update it self. Stop the program from crashing. Right now I'm trying to figure out update my index controller!! Because your program will not update it.

It crashes when hit update it with it plugged in and with out it plugged in!!

I switched to the Beta and switched back. VR used to work very well with MSFS 2020 ... but now it's not working well at all for me. Maybe others don't have any problems -- but it's made the VR in the flight sim for me nearly unworkable.

Often the Steam VR game menu shows up in the cockpit, and doesn't want to go away -- blocking the way out the of the windshield.

I hope it gets fixed somehow.
