CS:GO SDK Tools won't start
Hey Guys,

i've just downloaded the csgo sdk and wanted to start hammer. It pops up but closes instantly. The other tools won't even show a window. No errors. Also tried launching the .exe files. Verified cache. Nothing helps. Google didn't help. Hope you guys can. Thanks in advance.

System specs?
Win 8.1 64Bit
8GB Ram
i7-3610QM @ 4x2.30GHz
AMD Radeon HD7670M 2GB

older versions of Source SDK did work but not the CSGO SDK
And both are installed in the same spot right? As in you didnt install the sdk on a seperate hard drive.
the sdk files are in the csgo bin folder
same prob man
I found the solution, probably a bit late now but to anybody here skimming over the forums for an answer:

The Counter-Strike: Global Offensive SDK Tool must be installed in the same directory as the original CS:GO game files.

Solution?

Uninstall the CS:GO SDK Editor.
Reinstall it where your CS:GO files already exist.
It should do it instantly as the SDK files should already be there.
Launch.

The reason you do not change installation directories is it will confuse steam. It will give you an error message prompting you that it is already installed in that directory.

Profit?
