Hey everyone!

I can't even remember how long it's been. Five or six years? Something like that.

After countless hours of development, iteration, and pushing things further than I ever thought possible, the full 1.0 release of the game is finally here.

When I started this project, I thought it would just be a fun Twine experiment for my writing—a small, cool game inspired by the kinds of projects that got me interested in making games in the first place.

One thing led to another, and now we're here.

This game ended up shaping my life and career in ways I never expected. It gave me the opportunity to become a fully independent developer. Without it, I wouldn't have met my husband, many of my closest friends, or learned skills like 3D modeling and animation.

I don't quite have the words to express how much this project has influenced who I am today.

• Fixed an issue where temporary abilities wouldn't be removed after encounters.

• Fixed an issue where using the "Learn All Fight Moves" cheat before buying the sigils from Torgar could lock you into his early states.

• Fixed issues where the name change from "Slime Critter" to "Leviathan" sometimes wouldn't happen.

• Tweaked "Quick Jab" text to remove mentions of weapons.

• Fixed visual descriptions of Drenth not matching his artwork.

• Cray now clarifies that the chasm is located in the Eastern Barrens rather than implying a new encounter with him.

• Fixed an issue where "Vampiric Lust" would heal fractional amounts of health.

• Renamed "Vampiric Lust" to "Regenerating Lust" to better fit its design.

• Fixed alignment issues with village UI icons when Exiled and Lukka are at camp.

• Fixed an issue where upgradable abilities would not transform into their upgraded versions.

• Fixed spacing issues in the "Infest" Fight Move description.

• Fixed inconsistent pronoun usage in level-up abilities.

• Fixed undefined text appearing in "Corruptive Urges".

• Fixed an issue where Silas' Curse stat changes were not displayed outside combat.

• "Pondering Encounter Sizes" now shows height-affecting abilities for each character when hovering over their name.

• Fixed inconsistent pronoun usage in Apex Predator.

• Fixed an issue where Leviathan's Sand Dive implied he emerged when hit by attacks that dealt 0 damage.

• Fixed an issue where Sigil of Vitality's combat log displayed the attack description of Sigil of Perception.

• Fixed inconsistent pronoun usage in Faith's Reward.

• Fixed a Leviathan loss passage that could print two passages on the same page.

• Sigil activations now use the same visual styling as ability triggers.

• Fixed line breaks in many fight skill descriptions.

• The "Learn All Fight Moves" cheat no longer teaches moves that are impossible for the player to use.

• Fixed an issue with Silas' Claim where size gained by the naga would only be applied after combat.

⚠️ Version 1.0.0 is not compatible with saves from 0.12.4.

However, when starting a new game, you can carry over your Essence, Achievements, and Experience from older save files.
